Stovetop Vodka Beef Pasta

- 8 oz. pasta of your choice (I used bow time pasta) shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil shopping list
- 1 pound ground sirloin shopping list
- 1 medium green pepper, diced shopping list
- 1 medium onion, diced shopping list
- 12 cherry tomatoes, cut in half shopping list
- 1/2 tsp thyme shopping list
- 1/2 tsp basil shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/2 - 1 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/4 cup vodka shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta according to directions. Drain. Set aside.
- Add olive oil to a large skillet. Add the sirloin and cook until the red is gone. Add onion and pepper, cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Add spices and tomatoes, continue cooking until well blended. Add vodka and simmer for 10 minutes to blend the flavor.
- Serve sauce over pasta.
