Gooey Butter Cookies

- 8 oz cream cheese softened, shopping list
- 1/2c butter softened, shopping list
- 1egg, 1tsp, 1/4 tsp vanilla, shopping list
- 1 box of yellow cake mix ( I like to get the buttery yellow cake mix), shopping list
- 1/4 cup powedered sugar (expect to use more). shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together your cream cheese and butter, add in egg and vanilla, add in cake mix. Chill 15 mins. Use a Tsp (dip it in powdered sugat for less dough stickage) and make about 1 inch balls...roll in powdered sugar and put on ungreased cookie sheet (not to close together they will spread out a bit). Also ALWAYS!!! do a couple as testers for your oven..never know how it will cook these. Cook 9 to 13 mins (depending on size of cookie you make)and pull off cookie sheet immediately put on cooling rack. Bottoms should be a touch brown and inside will be bit gooey. You have to remember they will continue to cook as they sit on your cooling rack. I would refrigerate these and nothing taste so good as these.
