Ingredients

How to make it

  • preheat oven to 400F
  • Peel onions
  • Slice onions in quarters from top to bottom so each quarter includes some of the core to hole it together
  • Set quarters in a small baking dish, pointy side up
  • Season with salt and pewpper, add stock , vinegarand herbs on top
  • Cover tightly with foil and bake 45 minutes
  • Remove foil and bake 30 mins more OR until onions are very caramelized and liquids are reduced to a thick glaze

    When I make an onion dish like that, it's always a side dish to accompany meat or poultry
