Oven Caramelized Onions

- 2 medium red onions shopping list
- 1 1 /2 cups chicken stock shopping list
- 2 Tbs balsamic venegar shopping list
- 4 sprigs of rosemary and or thyme shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 400F
- Peel onions
- Slice onions in quarters from top to bottom so each quarter includes some of the core to hole it together
- Set quarters in a small baking dish, pointy side up
- Season with salt and pewpper, add stock , vinegarand herbs on top
- Cover tightly with foil and bake 45 minutes
- Remove foil and bake 30 mins more OR until onions are very caramelized and liquids are reduced to a thick glaze
