Jack Daniels Beef Brisket

- 1 4 to 6 lb beef brisket shopping list
- 1 onion chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey shopping list
- 1/4 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup ketsup shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar shopping list
- 2 tbs Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1 Tbs Worchestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1/2 tsp liquid smoke shopping list
- black pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Prehat oven to 300F
- Place brisket fat side up in pan
- Sprinkle with the chopped onion
- Combine remaining ingredients in a measure cup
- Pour over the brisket
- Cover roasting pan tightly with foil
- Bake 4 hours or until internal temp is 190F and meat is tender
- let sit 10 mins before carving against the grain
- Note: even better: cook a day ahead of time
- Remove brisket from drippings
- Cover brisket with foil and chill ovrnight
- Refrigerate drippings and skim off fat
- Slice chilled brisket
- Combine sliced meat with the pan drippings, place in roasting pan and gently reheat at 325F about 30 mins or well heated
