Honey Ginger Buttercream Frosting

- 3/4 cups-/1 1/2 Sticks,butter softened to room temp. shopping list
- 1 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/4-to-1/2 cup honey shopping list
- 2-3 Tsp.fresh grated ginger,or 1 Tsp.ground dry ginger shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp.vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 cup,finely minced crystallized ginger shopping list
How to make it
- Beat butter in medium bowl until creamy.Add sugar beat on high until smooth.Add honey and grated or dry ginger.(The recipe called for 1/2 cup honey but I used less).
- Beat another minute,before adding vanilla.Continue to beat 3 more minutes.Stir in crystallized ginger by hand.
- This frosted a 9X13 cake.If frosting a layer cake I would double recipe.
- When cake frosted,chill to set frosting.
