Caprese Appetizers

This is a fun take on the Italian's Caprese Salad. These appetizers are sophisticated, flavorful and SO simple to make. Excellent for those watching their waitslines! Enjoy!!!
Ingredients
- 24 fancy toothpicks shopping list
- 24 pieces 1-in cubed Motzzarella cheese shopping list
- 24 fresh Sweet basil leaves, cleaned w/ stems removed shopping list
- 24 small cherry tomatoes shopping list
- 2 T. extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp course sea salt shopping list
How to make it
- Put a tomato, basil leave (folded) and cheese cube on each toothpick in that order so the tomato is on top and the cheese cube is on the bottom.
- Place appetizers on serving plate. Lightly drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Serve & enjoy!
