Super Sausage Dip

Plenty of sausage makes the fondue dip satisfying, and chopped green chiles adds a little pizzaz. You may use any flavor sausage or turkey sausage to your liking.
Ingredients
- 1lb. bulk pork sausage shopping list
- 1 small onion, chopped shopping list
- 1/2c. chopped green pepper shopping list
- 3 medium tomatoes, chopped shopping list
- 1-4oz. can chopped green chilies shopping list
- 1-8oz. pk. cream cheese, cubed shopping list
- 16oz. sour cream shopping list
- tortilla chips shopping list
How to make it
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage, onion and green pepper over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain.
- Add the tomatoes and green chilies; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cream cheese; stir until melted. Stir in sour cream.
- Transfer to a fondue pot and keep warm.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
