How to make it

  • Grease an 11x7x1-1/2 inch baking pan;set aside
  • In a bowl combine all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, wheat germ, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt;set aside
  • In another bowl stir together egg, sugar, milk, oil, and vanilla. Sitr in banana and fruit bits. Add banana mixture to flour mixture , stirring to combine. Spread batter evenly pan.
  • Bake in a 350* oven for 20 to 25 min. or until wooden toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan cut into bars.

    Try number 2 was a total success. But to be honest the first one wasn't too bad either, but I had to cook it for an hour lol.

    And of course I screwed up yet another recipe, I miss read the pan size and after 20 min its still cold and raw in the center, I couldn't cook myself out of a paper bag grrrrrr. I have another banana I may just throw it out and try it again.

    I used 1 tsp of cinnamon cause you didn't write the qty for it in the recipe, its in the oven right now I can't wait to taste them.
