Coffee Liqueur

- 4 fl oz water shopping list
- 1 pint spirits (I use brandy) shopping list
- 1 lb caster sugar shopping list
- 2 tbsp of very aromatic freshly ground coffee (not the instant variety!) shopping list
How to make it
- Place the spirits in a bottle or jar and mix in the coffee, which must have been ground just prior to using.
- Leave for 2 weeks, shaking the bottle 3 times a week.
- Prepare a syrup with the water and sugar, boiling just for a minute.
- Cool and add to the bottle. Shake well.
- Leave to stand again for 2 or 3 days.
- Filter well and bottle.
- It is really well worth the work, believe me... it is delicious!
