Peas Pasta

- olive oil shopping list
- 1 large onion chopped shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic chopped shopping list
- 2 cans (8 oz) tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 can (14.5) diced Italian Style tomato shopping list
- 1 can (14.5) drained peas or 1 bag frozen, thawed shopping list
- Seasonings: shopping list
- salt, pepper, italian seasoning, Crushed red pepper, oregano, basil, shopping list
- Parmesean cheese shopping list
- 1/2 lbs of small shell macaroni shopping list
How to make it
- In large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat
- Add garlic and onions, saute till tender
- Add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes
- Add 1 can of water (tomato sauce can)
- Add the seasonings to taste
- Cook till boiling, lower heat to low and simmer covered for about 30 minutes
- Meanwhile heat & salt water, cook macaroni till al dente
- Drain peas and add to pan, stir and cook about 5 mintues
- Add macaroni right before serving
