Clover Studio

An Osaka-based development studio and fully-owned subsidiary of Capcom, Clover Studio was founded on July 1, 2004 at a startup cost of 90 million yen.

Initial staff members consisted of President and CEO Atsushi Inaba, Vice-President Kenzo Tsujimoto, Director Yoshifumi Yamashita, Senior Manager Haruhiro Tsujimoto, Managing Director Tamio Oda, Design Lead Shinji Utsunomiya, Software Engineer and Ryuta Takahashi. In total, the studio consisted of 64 persons of various positions.

Clover Studio produced a string of original and unique titles for Capcom, the most popular being the Viewtiful Joe franchise. Despite its success as a boutique studio, Capcom decided to refocus its efforts under the main Capcom umbrella, and on October 12, 2006, it was decided that Clover Studio was to be dissolved.
