BUTTERFLY KISSES RAINBOW NOTEBOOK | with Miguel

Today, I have another project using the Butterfly Kisses collection. This time, I made a notebook with a rainbow theme, perfect for documenting and noting to-dos in a very cute and colorful way. I covered my covers with the Solid Assortment.  I love how they offer the specific range of colors that match the collection.

I cut very thin strips from four of the patterned papers and glued them onto the cover.  I added adding some clouds and decorated with border stickers from the  This & That and the puffy words stickers, which give a super beautiful finish when it comes to phrases.

I had a fun idea to add the tags that come on one of the sheets of the collection, which can also serve as dividers and frames for photos of very special moments.

And of course, the cherry on top is this beautiful Doodle-pop butterfly. I love how it looks in projects, especially its shiny, 3D finish.

Thanks for stopping by and reading! See you soon!

BUTTERFLY KISSES BEAUTIFUL YOU LAYOUT | with Tarrah

The perfect way to celebrate and document those everyday moments of love and connection, was using the Butterfly Kisses collection! For this layout, I wanted to create a bright, cheerful design that highlights a sweet photo while letting all those happy colors and playful patterns shine.

The standout feature of this page is the diagonal patchwork background. I created a grid of square pieces using a variety of patterned papers from the 6' x 8' paper pad —florals, ginghams, butterflies, and tiny icons—all arranged on a diagonal for a fun, dynamic feel. This design adds movement and visual interest while allowing multiple patterns to come together in a cohesive, eye-catching way.

To frame the page, I matted the white cardstock to the 12' x 12' Garden Gingham patterned paper that neatly ties everything together and keeps the layout grounded.

The photo sits slightly off-center, layered on top of the patchwork design. I kept the photo cluster fun and dimensional with a mix of die-cuts, stickers, and embellishments from the Chit Chat and Odds & Ends packs and the This & That sticker sheet. A soft yellow mat under the photo helps it pop while still blending beautifully with the bright colour palette.

Around the photo, I built layers using flowers, butterflies, and small accents from the Bits & Pieces pack to create a balanced composition. The addition of fluttering butterflies across the page gives the layout a light, whimsical feel—perfectly matching the joyful theme of the collection.

The title “Beautiful You” takes center stage, combining bold, colorful lettering with a handwritten script for contrast and personality. Placing the title close to the photo helps anchor the design and draws attention straight to the focal point.

Just beside the photo, I added a small sentiment piece that reads “Love You So Much,” reinforcing the heartfelt story behind the layout.

To complete the page, I sprinkled in enamel shapes and tiny embellishments, including a cute frog Doodle Pop and additional butterflies, to enhance the playful vibe. A few floral clusters at the top and bottom of the page create visual balance and guide the eye across the layout. I also drew faux stitching on each square paper to add some more interest and make them pop.

If you’re looking for a fun way to showcase your favorite photos, give this patchwork style a try—you might just fall in love with it! Thanks for stopping by today! Happy creating!

BUTTERFLY KISSES SPRING MINI ALBUM | with Inessa

Today I’m sharing the sweetest little spring mini album using the beautiful Butterfly Kisses collection! This collection is absolutely perfect for documenting all those happy spring memories, and I decided to fill mine with favorite photos of my family and, of course, our adorable pup Paisley.
For the base of my project, I used a metal die cut set with decorative oval shapes that measure approximately 4x5 inches. After cutting all of my pages, I simply punched two holes along the sides and bound everything together using two ring binders from my stash. I love how easy and customizable this style of mini album is!

To create the pages, I used the 6x8 paper pad to die cut the ovals. For the front cover, I chose the Butterfly Kisses color-fetti paper from the 12x12 collection pack because I wanted a sturdier cover with extra thickness. I already had some leftover paper from a previous project, which made it the perfect choice! I also doubled up the back page to give the album a nice substantial feel.

For the cover design, I added the adorable cup of cheer doodle pop and layered stickers below and directly onto the cup for extra detail and dimension. To finish it off, I tied on ribbon and a tassel for even more texture and fun. I just love the playful look it adds!

Inside the album, I used one of the metal dies to cut out my photo on the first page and then decorated it with cardstock stickers. As you flip through the album, you’ll see a variety of embellishments including cardstock stickers, icons, mini icons, shape sprinkles, bits & pieces, odds & ends, and a few more doodle pops sprinkled throughout the pages. Towards the end of the album, I also added a couple of puffy word stickers for extra texture and detail.

I truly love how this little album turned out, and I hope it inspires you to create something special with your own spring memories! This would make such a thoughtful handmade gift for your mom, grandma, or a friend. It would also be perfect for documenting birthdays, Mother’s Day, or any meaningful occasion worth remembering.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends. I hope you have a wonderful day and feel inspired to create a fun little treasure of your own! Happy crafting 💕

BUTTERFLY KISSES LOVE YOU LAYOUT | with Tya

There is just something so sweet and happy about the Butterfly Kisses collection from Doodlebug Design! The bright pastel colors, playful butterflies, and darling floral patterns made this layout such a joy to create. I used this adorable collection to document these precious photos of some family friends' kids at a wedding reception, and I just love how perfectly the soft colors and whimsical details highlighted these sweet little best friends.

For the base of my layout, I created a fun patchwork background using a variety of patterned papers from the  6x8 paper pad. I love how the mix of florals, polka dots, butterflies, and stripes adds so much interest and color without overwhelming the design. Layering the white cardstock panel on top helped frame my photos beautifully while still allowing all those gorgeous patterns to peek through around the edges.

One of my favorite details on this page is the “Love You” title cluster at the top of the layout.  The words are from the Chit Chat. I layered the title over a floral heart from the Bits and Pieces and added one of the adorable butterfly pieces and some hearts for extra dimension and movement. The black and white twine adds such a fun, whimsical touch and helps guide your eye around the page.

On the right side of the layout, I created a sweet embellishment cluster filled with flowers, hearts, leaves, and one of the pretty pink butterflies from the collection. All of these are from the Bits and Pieces and the Odds and Ends. I love adding little layers like this around my photos because it gives the page so much texture and helps bring everything together. The tiny Puffy Sticker flowers and sprinkled black ink dots finish the cluster perfectly.

For the left side cluster, I tucked in more florals and die cuts along with the “You’re So Sweet” speech bubble from the This and That Sticker sheet. I also added twine bows to some yellow flower buttons from my stash and layered pieces with foam adhesive to create extra depth and dimension. These little details are some of my favorite ways to make a layout feel interactive and full of life.

The full layout view really shows how beautifully all the colors in the Butterfly Kisses collection work together. The soft yellows, pinks, mint greens, and pops of coral create such a cheerful springtime feel. I love how the playful butterflies and florals help tell the story while keeping the focus on these darling photos and special memories.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope this layout inspires you to pick up the Butterfly Kisses collection and use it to document some of your own sweet memories. This collection is absolutely bursting with happy colors and charming details that make creating such a delight. Happy crafting!

BUTTERFLY KISSES THE GOOD LIFE PAGE | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna here today sharing another layout using the Butterfly Kisses collection. While on a mini vacation last week, I was at a nursery with my daughter and she was all about the beautiful flowers and of course, the water fountains. She absolutely loves flowers and will stop to smell each and every bloom. I snapped a photo of her and couldn’t wait to document it with this collection. Here’s my page:

To start, I decided to switch things up and opted for a colored cardstock as my base. I ended up choosing the pink Cupcake cardstock from the coordinating 12x12 Solid Assortment pack and I love how everything on top of it really pops!  Since my photo is of my girl looking at all of the flowers, I thought having a bunch of them on my page would be perfect. I pulled out the Bits and Pieces pack and selected quite a few of them. I arranged them in sort of a crescent shape with my intention of tucking my photo into it.

I popped a few florals up on foam tape and then tucked the rest into each other. I also made sure to pull a few greenery pieces to tuck into them as well. Next, I matted my photo using one of the 6x8 papers and nestled it into the curve shape of my flowers. It's such a cute design!

From that same Bits and Pieces pack, I pulled out the two banner die cuts and arranged them in the top right corner of my page. I then chose my title from the Chit Chat pack and adhered it in the blank space between the banners and my photo. I absolutely love the fonts in this collection, they're so unique and fun!!!

Next, I wanted to add a few more embellishments so I scattered in a few Puffy Icons stickers like the bees and the blue birds. I also tucked in a few little critters into my florals from the Icons stickers sheet. I thought they went perfectly with this playful page!

Here's one last look at this cute and colorful page that was so easy to put together:

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! If you have a bunch of floral die cuts, this would be a perfect design to try, especially if you're short on time but still want to sit down and create a page. I'll see you in my next post friends!

BUTTERFLY KISSES THE GOOD LIFE LAYOUT | with Tarrah

There’s something truly special about documenting special moments spent together. those happy snapshots filled with sunshine, connection, and simple joy. Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful scrapbook layout created with the Butterfly Kisses collection, and it could not be more perfect for celebrating love and togetherness.

For this layout, I started with the gorgeous Happy Thoughts patterned paper as the foundation, placing it off centre. The soft pastel stripes instantly set a happy tone and create the perfect backdrop for layering. To ground all of those playful colors, I added the Sunny Days patterned paper underneath to ground the diagonal stripes. The contrast really helps frame the design and keeps everything feeling light and fresh.

The photo takes centre stage, layered with scalloped mats and sweet embellishments to help it shine. I love how easy it is to build dimension with the Odds & Ends and Bits & Pieces ephemera packs - those butterflies, flowers, and clouds add so much movement without overwhelming the page. A few butterflies fluttering around the photo bring that whimsical, carefree feel the collection is known for.

One of my favorite details on this layout is the title cluster. Using a mix of word stickers and die cuts, I layered “The Good Life” along the bottom of the photo, surrounded by flowers and tiny accents. It creates a natural visual anchor while still keeping things playful. The small banner at the top of the photo with “I Love You” adds an extra layer of meaning and ties everything together beautifully.

To finish things off, I added a scalloped border and a little stitching detail for texture, along with a few enamel dots for subtle dimension. These finishing touches help balance the layout and guide the eye around the page.

This layout is a reminder of why I love documenting everyday moments—bright colors, happy memories, and a whole lot of heart. If you’re looking for a collection that’s perfect for springtime stories, love-filled moments, or just celebrating life, Butterfly Kisses is an absolute must. Thanks for stopping by today! Happy creating!

BUTTERFLY KISSES ACETATE MINI | with Conny

Hello crafty friends, it’s Conny here from The Daily Life of Creativity, and today I’m sharing this bright and happy mini album I created using the Butterfly Kisses collection. This project is full of color, butterflies, and interactive pages, and I absolutely love how it all came together, especially that acetate cover that gives you a peek into the album right from the start.

I began by creating the cover using the Butterfly Kisses acetate. I trimmed the acetate to 11 inches by 8 inches, then scored it at 5 inches and 6 inches on the 11-inch side to create a 1-inch spine. Once folded, this gives the album a clean structure while still keeping that transparent look that makes the butterflies really stand out. I love how the acetate adds a little something extra and makes the whole album feel light and fun.

From there, I moved on to building the pages. For what I consider page three, I used the Mushroom Meadow paper cut to 10 and 5/8 by 8 inches, and I scored it at 4 and 3/4 and 5 and 5/8. For page two, I used the Rainbow Garden paper, also cut to 10 and 5/8 by 8 inches, and scored on the long side at 7/8 and 5 and 3/4. For the first page, I used the Butterfly Kisses paper trimmed to 10 by 8 inches, and scored on the long side at 4 and a half and 5 and 3/8. I also added another insert using the Bitty Blossoms paper, cutting it to 9 and a half by 8 inches and scoring at 4 and 4 and a half. Each of these pages creates different flaps and interactive sections that make the album fun to flip through.

To decorate the inside, I brought in the cut-apart sheets and journaling cards from the collection. I used the 3x4 cards and layered them so they could hold smaller 2x2 photos, which I think is perfect for adding multiple little memories throughout the album without overwhelming the pages. I love mixing those elements because they add variety and make each section feel a little different.

To bind everything together, I used a hole punch to create three holes on both the acetate cover and all of the pages. I placed two holes about three-quarters of an inch in from the top and bottom, and then one hole in the middle at the 4-inch mark. Once everything was aligned, I threaded it together using a white elastic string, which keeps the album flexible and easy to flip through.

For the closure, I wrapped the elastic around the album. To finish it off, I added a butterfly bead charm to the elastic, and I also added another charm on the cover. That little detail really brings everything together. The bead has this beautiful iridescent look with hints of peach, pink, yellow, and green, and it matches the collection so perfectly.

One of my favorite things about this little traveler-style acetate album is how much it can actually hold. Even though it’s compact, it fits a surprising number of photos. You can comfortably add up to 31 photos using a mix of sizes like 4x6, 5x7, 3x4, 2x2, 3x3, and even 4x4. The 5x7 photos will take up most of a page, which makes them perfect for those standout moments, while the smaller sizes let you tell more detailed stories throughout the album.

For embellishing, I kept everything within the Butterfly Kisses collection and used a mix of puffy words, puffy icons, and the mini icons to add dimension and detail throughout the pages. One of my favorite interactive elements is the envelope I added on one of the pages. It’s one of those thicker envelopes that opens up and gives you extra space to tuck in photos, journaling, or little keepsakes. Thank you so much for stopping by.
