Are you dizzy with excitement about nail polish?

This is about 2 and a half coats of Nails Inc. Hatton Garden.
You can see my turquoise t-shirt reflecting in the bottle cap!
I did not end up wearing this mani for long at all - something about it just bugged me.  Mostly it was that little sliver of white nail end showing on the right side of my ring finger nail (see below).  Grrr.
I believe I used two coats of Shimmer Glass under my Sephora X top coat.
I will have to give this one another try because it's really fun and pretty to look at!

For this mani I used Color Club Raspberry Rush and Essie Beyond Cozy.
I did three coats of Raspberry Rush.  It's candy scented - slightly obnoxious but it did fade within about a day.  It's a super bright and cheery neon pink.
For Beyond Cozy I only needed two coats, but I did top with Gelous before my top coat.
I liked that this was kind of fun, summery, and a little unexpected for me.
And here is another one for you!  Rainbow Honey Tessie.
This is two coats of periwinkle perfection.  I cannot tell you how much I adore this color and it's pretty soft shimmer.  It's more purple in real life.  Think right between purple and blue.  These pictures make it look far too blue.
Tessie just makes me happy.  It's such a soothing, comforting color for me.
The formula was thick but easy to work with.  Check out the shimmer in the bottle below!
I'm debating if I should get a full sized bottle of this one, assuming it's still available!  I probably won't, just knowing how much polish I have and how much is untried!  But dang, this color kills me.

These are only bad news nails because I quite literally received some very bad news while I had them painted this way!
Bad news aside, because we like to keep ze blog fluffy and pretty and full of glitter, sunshine, shimmer, and win.  :)  This is three coats of Nicole by OPI Yellow, It's Me topped with Candeo Sprouse.
I used mainly painting motions with Sprouse, but did dab a little, as needed.
A coat of Gelous under my top coat smoothed things nicely.
I love this combo.  It's fun and a little funky.  I wish more blue bits had come out to play, and I almost don't like the silver glitters, but all in all I love the look.
The coppery pink shimmer in Yellow, It's Me is totally fab.  You can see it extra in the picture above because I must have snapped it just as the sun was going behind a cloud.  Hmm...  I guess the sun wouldn't really go behind a cloud.  The cloud would go in front of it.  Yeah.

This wore for a solid week on me!

Prepare yourself for too many pictures of this one!
Also, my apologies for not getting proper bottle shots of all the polishes involved.
Okay, so are you wanting to know what I used for this?
I started with Cult Nails Nevermore.  Then I added a coat of Ozotic Pro 528.
After that, I used Lynnderella Bride of Franken for extra blue iridescence.
The last polish I added was Lynnderella Shape Shifter (newer version).
I finished with two coats of Gelous (three even just on one nail where a star glitter was in a precarious and poky position) and then Sephora X top coat.
I enjoyed wearing this so so much.  One of my all time favorites easily!!  It wore very well, too, much to my happiness.  I want to say it was on for a good week!  :)

Time for some BLING.  This is Nars Disco Inferno with OPI Which is Witch?
I used three coats of Disco Inferno and made sure to let each coat dry just a bit before moving onto the next (I've learned that sheer shimmers like to bubble on me if I rush them).
I would have done four coats of Disco Inferno if I was going to wear it on its own, but since I layered Which is Witch? over top, it was good enough at three.
One coat of OPI Which is Witch?, a coat of Gelous, and a coat of Sephora X top coat finished it off.
I don't usually like glitters over any metallic looking sort of polishes, but this one works pretty good I think.  It's just fun to have the duochrome and the holo glitters together!
I'm trying to catch up on my posts.  I feel like I'm so far behind!  Wish me luck.  :)

This is two coats of Sephora X Perplexed.
It's a metallic steel color with gold shimmer - or should I say small gold glitters?  Large shimmer...small glitter.  Something like that.
The gold - whatever it is - has a lovely twinkle to it.  Very magical in person!
My pictures don't really do this polish justice.
I did not get super amazing wear time on this X polish, as I had had with Deranged.  I believe it was around three or four days (still good for me, but not out-of-control-awesome).

I've had this on for four days now, and oddly, it seems like longer.  This is four thin coats of OPI The World is Not Enough.
I used Sephora X base coat under it and Sephora X top coat over top.  For whatever reason, the X base and top combined with OPI has been giving me better than normal wear!  Hooray!
It's still not as good as my nine days with X polish...but four or five days with OPI is novel and fun for me!
I tried to wear this one earlier and had some icky bubbling, likely because I went too fast.  I say "too fast," but really it was as fast as I normally go (not waiting between coats or anything).  This type of polish, I find, really needs some patience and babying.  What should I even call this finish?  Metallic shimmer?!  It's freaking gorgeous, whatever it is.
So, yeah, just GO SLOW, and it will all be okay and be totally worth it.  I waited between my coats, I made sure to do thinner coats than normal (thus the need for four coats), and presto-magic-o, my mani was near perfect!
Also, just so you know, this is way prettier in person than in pictures.  It's super shiny and metallic looking.  In some lights it appears a bit purple to me, which I really enjoy.
Do you have it?  Do you love it?  What do you think?

Here are a couple of Holiday manis I've worn recently.  I've been in the mood for Christmas colors!
This is two coats of Rainbow Honey Annual Emotion.  I used a coat of Lynnderella Happy Holo-Daze! for the accent.  Pardon my application because I didn't clean up one bit and I did this very late at night.  I also skipped my base coat - I can't remember the last time I've done that.
Next is three fingers of Zoya Logan!  I snapped these pictures right as I was taking it off to change it.  I had already removed my pinky finger.  :)
This was two coats of Logan.  It's very similar to Ivanka, but a deeper green and definitely feels more like Christmas to me.
Both of these manis only lasted a day for me but they were fun and pretty while I wore them.

This Is Me!

My photo
I love color, beauty, creativity, animals, and being care-free. I'm not care-free, in reality, but would like to think it's an attainable state of being! I do like to bend the rules when it serves a greater purpose and I'm all about being authentic. Here I am, take me or leave me! I suppose I'd call myself a sensitive soul. I think I feel things more deeply and ponder things more thoroughly than your average bear.
