Are you dizzy with excitement about nail polish?

For this mani I used Color Club Raspberry Rush and Essie Beyond Cozy.
I did three coats of Raspberry Rush.  It's candy scented - slightly obnoxious but it did fade within about a day.  It's a super bright and cheery neon pink.
For Beyond Cozy I only needed two coats, but I did top with Gelous before my top coat.
I liked that this was kind of fun, summery, and a little unexpected for me.
And here is another one for you!  Rainbow Honey Tessie.
This is two coats of periwinkle perfection.  I cannot tell you how much I adore this color and it's pretty soft shimmer.  It's more purple in real life.  Think right between purple and blue.  These pictures make it look far too blue.
Tessie just makes me happy.  It's such a soothing, comforting color for me.
The formula was thick but easy to work with.  Check out the shimmer in the bottle below!
I'm debating if I should get a full sized bottle of this one, assuming it's still available!  I probably won't, just knowing how much polish I have and how much is untried!  But dang, this color kills me.

This is three coats of Nicole by OPI Nothing Kim-Pares to Blue.  Application was easy and I like the new brush shape (new to me, at least).  It's kind of like the OPI ProWide...er, maybe it's exactly the same.  Anyway, I much prefer it to the big and bushy curved shapes.
I absolutely love periwinkle and soft blues, so this was no exception!  It's actually quite soft and bright all at the same time.  And the shimmer, which sadly doesn't show too well here due to cloudy weather, is really rainbowy and nice!

Webinarmy wore for an awesome four days for me, just so y'all know!  I decided it was time for another Lynnderella mani next, so that is what you see here.
I began with two coats of Misa Working Hard or Hardly Working, a really pretty slightly blue-toned light gray.
I added two coats of Mysterious Ways, followed by Glitter Tamer, Barielle Manicure Extender, and Seche Vite.  My favorite "piece" of this mani is the diamond you see on my thumb above!
In this last picture you can really see the cool iridescent blue shimmer in Mysterious Ways!

Sadly, I did have a few large and obnoxious bubbles (only on my left hand, though).  You can see them in the first few pictures if you didn't catch them already.  It wasn't so much noticeable in real life, though, so no big deal.  Also, I was lazy and didn't wrap my tips with Mysterious Ways, which I totally should have, because you can see how it kind of shrank back at the tips.

I absolutely loved this gorgeous and glittery periwinkle mani!  I only wish it had stayed on me better.  In less than 24 hours I found myself easily peeling it off in huge pieces.  :/  Ruh roh.

I've had OPI Yokohama Twilight (from Japan) for a while and have wanted to try it but never got around to it until now!
I layered one coat of Yokohama Twilight over two coats of Zoya Caitlin, which proved to be a really great pairing.
Caitlin is just lovely on her own and the application was most excellent.
I was worried that Yokohama Twilight would be too sheer for me on its own.
I have to say that I'm really happy with how these pictures turned out - all 800 of them (just kidding).
Also, dare I say, this mani was even more beautiful in person!?
The duochrome shift is nicely visible from blue, to purple, to pink.
And the shimmer in the sun is just mesmerizing!
I'm pretty sure Yokohama Twilight is fairly hard to find these days.  I ordered mine from Doll Up Nails, which is also where I got all my glitterbomb Estessimo TiNS from.
At first I wasn't feeling this combo for some reason.  It felt dated and grandmother-ish to me!  Then, I really grew to love it and was very sad to see it go.
I'm trying to capture the pink shift in the horribly awkward photo above.  It's more easily seen in real life.  Gosh, my fingers look mutant!
I ended up cracking it after a day (or was it two?).  I used 2012 Prayer, which I got at a local Walgreens.  I've only seen those Crackles at a few Walgreens - definitely not all of them.  They have a ton of great colors that all seem to have Christian themed names.
Prayer cracked really well and applied very easily.  I love that shade of purple!

I'm kind of in a hurry right now. So I'm just going to straight up spam you with a million pictures of my mani from yesterday, China Glaze 2Nite.

I did three coats over a base with no top coat.

Sadly, if you don't already own this one, it's going to be hard and/or expensive for you to get this as it's been discontinued for a while.

I'm not saying it's impossible. Oh no. Just not easy.

I do think it would be worth it to track this down. It's pretty freaking amazing.

It doesn't look nearly as amazing indoors...but still pretty nice.

Okay, just sit back, relax, and enjoy the rest of the show!

This is two coats of Nails Inc. St. John's Wood. I seriously could have done with just one coat.

The application was great and I even thought I might have seen some glints of secret shimmer while applying...although it was late at night and I was quite tired, so I very well could have been hallucinating that part. :) I hope you'll pardon the scuffs as this is my second day wearing it and I'm sure I gave it a bit of a beating at work yesterday.

It's in the periwinkle family, which is beloved because it combines two of my favorite colors: purple and blue. It also reminds me of Eeyore, which makes me happy as well.

I took three rounds of pictures of this one because I simply cannot get pictures that accurately reflect what I see when I look down at them. I see purple. PURPLE.

At times it leans blue, but over all the color reminds me a little bit of OPI Funkey Dunkey, to give you an idea of what I'm dealing with here!

This last picture is perhaps the closest to being accurate, only imagine it leaning a little more purple. At any rate, no matter what color St. John's Wood is or should be, I do love it. Glad to have it!

And can you believe that I'm wearing just a creme mani with no shimmer, glitter, flakes, or stamps?!

Hello, Lovelies! Right now I am wearing this combination: Ulta Bam-Blue-Zled with OPI DS Shimmer.

Please forgive my poor dry, haggard looking skin/cuticles as well as that groovy dent on my middle finger (this is what happens when you thin your quick dry top coat too much!).

I used just two coats of Bam-Blue-Zled and one coat of Shimmer. Good ol' Shimmer. It makes everything better!

I really love these two together and some of you may be realizing that it looks quite a bit like China Glaze 2Nite. :)

I have an exciting update regarding my experience with Palladio Fuse base coat! On this mani I decided to layer Gelous first, then Fuse, and then do my normal thing. I was hoping to get the stain prevention benefits of Gelous but keep the awesome staying power of the Fuse.

Well, this is day three and I am still going strong! Not a chip in site. I am thrilled. Of course my nails are already stained from a week or two of just the Fuse on its own, but I think I'm going to use this combination from now on and I *should* be golden!

The girl wants to have her cake and eat it, too. :)

This Is Me!

My photo
I love color, beauty, creativity, animals, and being care-free. I'm not care-free, in reality, but would like to think it's an attainable state of being! I do like to bend the rules when it serves a greater purpose and I'm all about being authentic. Here I am, take me or leave me! I suppose I'd call myself a sensitive soul. I think I feel things more deeply and ponder things more thoroughly than your average bear.
