Are you dizzy with excitement about nail polish?

I got my new Lynnderellas this past week and I was really excited about them!  I still am.  :)  I decided to wear The Stars In Her Eyes... first.
I started with two coats of a-england Elaine for a base.  Then I dabbed on a coat of The Stars In Her Eyes...  It was somewhat thick and the little tiny stars wanted to chunk together, making application a bit difficult.
Look how pretty it is, though!  I love it.  I used two coats of Gelous followed by Seche Vite.  It was not entirely smooth, so I added a coat of Barielle Manicure Extender the following day, which made it more smooth and glassy.
I was really happy to get two good days out of this, because the Lynnderella, Gelous, and SV combination does not usually last me more than one day.  The only reason I had chosen to use them in the first place was that I was in quite a big hurry.
I love the big star on my ring finger.  It makes me happy.

I have a special swatcheroo post planned for tomorrow!  This is just a little tease.
Have you ever heard of the indie polish Starlight and Sparkles?  I had not until recently.
This is one coat of Unicorn Tears over a coat of a-england Camelot.  I used Butter London's quick dry top coat.
Unicorn Tears is super pretty!  It's multichrome shimmer in a deep purple jelly base.  I was thinking it might be sheer, so I layered it over black just in case.
The shimmer mostly shifts from blue to green but there are little glimpses of purple as well - or maybe I just imagined that part.  :)
This mani wore SO WELL on me.  Holy cow.  I think it's partly because my nails are very short, but maybe it's the top coat as well?  Or the awesome Starlight and Sparkles polish?  Or a combination of all products used!?  In any case, I was really impressed.
I took this off after four full days and only because I needed to do some swatching!  It had a tiny chip in it and some tip wear, but looked nearly perfect.  Crazy cool!

Unicorn Tears was provided to me by the creator for review purposes.  You can find more Starlight and Sparkles polishes here.  Stay tuned....it's gonna get reeeallly pretty around here!

This is two coats of a-england Order of the Garter.
I say two coats, but think of it as one sort of thin coat and one rather thick coat!  It probably would've been better to try and do three thin coats.
What you can't see here is the really pretty pinky purple shimmer that peeks out every now and then in person.  It's a beautiful sea of shimmery blue goodness!
The application was easy, as always.  After a day or so, I decided to bring on the bling.
I added a coat of Tokidoki Latte along with the cute decals that came attached to the bottle.
In the pictures here I've only used one additional coat of top coat, but I decided to go with another one after I snapped the photos as the glitter was too bumpy still.  Below you see my right thumb, left thumb, and right ring finger.

It was fun and cute!  I really love Tokidoki and the characters.  I used to love buying the Le Sportsac purses back about seven years ago (I only have two but I love them dearly).  Bastardino is my favorite of the stickers here.

'Twas a gloomy day when these pictures were taken!
But look how the glitter twinkles, even in the gloom.  :)
This is two coats of a-england Guinevere with a coat of Butter London Tart with a Heart.
I got so many compliments on this mani - I was kind of surprised by that.
Yes...it IS beautiful!  And what's not to love?  You just never know what people will say and when.
The formula and application on both was grand.

Not too long ago a dear work friend of mine traveled to Japan.  She was most generous in offering to try and find me some TiNS polishes off my wish list.
This is my favorite of the two that she found me.  It's so much better than I could have expected!
I started with two coats of a-england Elaine as my base.  Then I used one coat of TiNS Photogenne.
It's light gold, almost white gold, in a clear base with metal looking irregular flakes!
I die for this.  It's so fierce!
Thank you SO MUCH, Miya!  This polish is really special to me.  <3
I also got TiNS Champs Elysees, which you see above next to a-england Guinevere.  I currently have this combination on my toes and it's quite pretty.  I'm not posting any pedi pictures, though, so don't worry!

This is my borzoi Georgia.  I often call her just "George."
She loves to sunbathe.
The above picture is not very recent.  I can vouch for her having more majestic and fluffy neck hair now (almost like a mane).
She's an absolutely crazy lunatic dog, but I do love her so.
Varekai, the eldest borzoi, would be a little jealous if I didn't include her picture here, too.  She's my cream puff sweetheart doll-face.
And this is A-England St. George!
I used two coats topped with Seche Vite.
I couldn't think of St. George without immediately thinking of my George....Georgia, that is.
It's one hot polish.  It applied effortlessly.
It's not the blingiest holo out there, but I really enjoy it.  Glorious!  Majestic!  Just like my borzoi babies.

This is the lovely Ozotic Mish Mash 531.
I used two coats over one coat of a-england Camelot (black) and topped it all with a coat of Seche Vite.
I apologize for the lack of good full on sun pictures.  You'll have to trust me that the holo in sunlight is just blindingly brilliant!
The multichrome effect of this polish is very interesting!  It tends to look either coppery or kind of plummy most of the time.  Yet, it has really good shifts into gold and green as well.
It's quite lovely and I have say that I enjoyed it even more than I had expected to!
This last picture reminds me of beautiful beetle shells.

This Is Me!

My photo
I love color, beauty, creativity, animals, and being care-free. I'm not care-free, in reality, but would like to think it's an attainable state of being! I do like to bend the rules when it serves a greater purpose and I'm all about being authentic. Here I am, take me or leave me! I suppose I'd call myself a sensitive soul. I think I feel things more deeply and ponder things more thoroughly than your average bear.
