Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Birthday Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Birthday Blog Hop!! Today we are celebrating Lisa's (owner/designer of PPPR) birthday! She had a plan for this hop, but we (the Design Team plus guests) have a plan of our OWN because we LOVE her!!!! I used the CUTIE PATOOTIE "Candy Corn Guy" HERE! For those of you who know me, you know that Candy Corn is my MOST FAVORITE CANDY EVERRR! ;) I knew this was a birthday hop & I was determined to make this little cutie into a birthday card! My vision for this was to make my little candy corn look like it was stepping out of the frame to give Miss Lisa her balloons for her birthday! ;)

Scrapping the Little Things

Good morning my creative friends!  I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS weekend! Welcome to another "Scrapping the little things"! Today we have some SUPER FUN pages for you!  

I decided to go ahead & do another page in my smash book! For my page today I focused on the "Day before school"!  It's "TRADITION" that my boys get EXTRA SPOILED the day before they go back to school! My hubby always reminds me the day before to make sure I take them out! Which we NEVER forget! ;) I take them to their FAVORITE places~! First up on the agenda, was they LOVE Ghiradelli Chocolate Factory (which "I" do TOO!) hehehe! They wanted dessert BEFORE lunch! So that is exactly what we did! Baby Aaron had his usual Sundae, but he ordered it a bit different this time! Anthony ordered his milkshake & of course I had my "usual" a banana split! ;) I have to treat myself too...right? :) So we hung out there, then we headed to Barnes & Noble! Okay, I do have to say that I don't have your "typical boys"!  I know if I were to ask my nephews where would THEY want to go for fun, they would FOR SURE say the Park!  But not my Baby Aaron & Anthony, they ALWAYS pick to go to Barnes & Noble! Hey, I don't mind AT ALL! I am just SOOO LUCKY & BLESSED that BOTH of my boys ENJOY reading SOOO MUCH!  They told me not to ever get them a kindle because it would NOT be the same to them! In "my opinion" I have to agree w/them 100%! There is NOTHING like holding your book & turning the pages yourself!  But I do know ALOT of people who do prefer the kindle over a book because it's easier for storage purposes!  

We usual spend "at least" 2 hours at Barnes & Noble.  Since we had a late start this day, it was almost dinner time, so the boys chose to go to their FAVORITE burrito place! So we picked up the burritos to go so my hubby can enjoy his burrito w/us when he got home from work!

Happy Birthday ~ Some GREAT News & Something BRAND NEW!

GOOD MORNING my creative friends! Well, today is one SPECIAL day! It is my Mommy's Birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MOMMY........HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOO YOUUUUUUU!!! CHA CHA CHA!!;) 

Well, I'm sure sure is reading this today! We celebrated already on Saturday, but we will have to continue the celebration since TODAY is her REAL Birthday! Just a little F.Y.I. for all of you, my Mom has been feeling a little down because she feels bad that alot of you are still waiting for your orders:( We are just waiting for the dies & as soon as they ring my doorbell, we can get ALLLLL of your orders out!  I think she is feeling this way because she LOVES to get out the orders ASAP & it's killing her that she can't do that right now!  I told her that it's not her fault that we sold out so quickly. Again, THANK YOU for your patience my sweet friends! I PROMISE you, it will be worth the wait because there will be a little surprise in your packages!;)  Just make sure you don't throw anything away, otherwise you will miss it!

Okay, now onto some FANTASTIC NEWS about my son ~Baby Aaron! We went to see his cardiologist this morning. He did his EKG & an echocardiogram & they came back NORMAL!!! In 2 weeks he can go on back to being a 12 year old little boy again! I was SO HAPPY that my hubby was there w/me because it was a HUGE weight off of our shoulders.  After many sleepless nights, let's just say that I feel SOOO VERY BLESSED & APPRECIATIVE for ALL of my family & ALL of YOU (my bloggy family) for all of your love,support, thoughts & prayers! THANK YOU!! I am giving you ALL BIG HUGE INTERNET HUGS right now!

 The bee is supposed to be singing... does he look like he is singing? I made this card for a friend's little boy; he is obsessed with bees. They have several bee hives on their property, so he's very knowledgeable on the subject.  He's definitely my "go to" guy whenever I need info about bees. Anyway, I am hoping that he likes his card!
