"Do Over" Thursday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "DO OVER" Thursday! 

Today my team & I are re-making cards that either we were not happy with OR just to make another version of it!  

This card with the gold deer is the card I chose to do over!  The reason why I chose this card is because I got an email from one of my viewers that wanted me to create a card that will not require EXTRA postage to send out~!  SOOOO, I thought I would re-create this card, but ONLY do stamping & not to use any dies! 

Here is the card I came up with! NOW, keep in mind that you do NOT want to add ribbon if you want to keep the postage down! This card looked AWESOME with out the ribbon, but I wanted to add it to my card because I will be handing this card to a particular person!  So I just wanted to show you that making a card with stamping CAN be done using this particular release! :)

For today, I REALLY wanted to do over this little owl card!  It's not that I didn't like it, I just wanted to color in my turkey & I thought it would look CUTE in this same style card! 

Here is my "Do Over" card! :)  I couldn't wait to color in my little cutie patootie turkey! I just LOVE how this card came out!  I used topics to color it all in,  added glossy accents to his eyeball & I also added some clear wink of stella to my turkey!

First of all,  I apologize for NOT having a project for you today & yesterday :(  Well yesterday I felt sick after I ate something, but now I am WAY BETTER! :)  It's been a CRAZY week because my boys go back to school NEXT WEEK :(   So I've been trying to get everything that they need ready!~

I can't believe their summer vacation has ALMOST to an end :(  Don't you remember when we all used to return to school the day after Labor Day???  it's crazy now!

"Do Over" Thursday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to a "Do Over" Thursday! 

Well....my card is not quite a "do over" :(  I looked at the wrong date on our schedule & made a "Thoughtful Thursday" by accident.  I swear I think this heat is getting to me!!! We have been experiencing, (which I'm pretty sure most of you are) some REALLY high temperatures :(  Usually if the boys were in school, I would SOOO STAY in my home, but since they are off, we have been out & about~!  I'm not sure if this is even possible but I feel like I am getting HEAT headaches! lol..... I am trying to hang in there because my boys have a pretty BUSY schedule this summer! Let's just say that I WISH we can just FAST FORWARD to fall already! ;) 

Well, now onto my "non" do-over card! lol.... ;) 

I kept this card real simple by using a few of my products that I thought turned out pretty cute all together!  I had a piece of acetate on my craft table so I was able to make this into an A2 size clear card base!  I just used my More Stitched Rectangular Dies & layered my balloon using the Big Hello Die along with the sentiment from You are my Sunshine!  Then I pretty much did the same concept with the twine like you saw me do in yesterday's video!  Lastly I just added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh! :)

Before I go, I want to apologize for not having any projects for you this week :(  I really thought I would be able to do something for today, but never was able to.  This is the last week of school for us & it's been a CRAZY CHAOTIC week!!!  I will be jumping for joy at 11:53am tomorrow since that is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!! My boys have been SO STRESSED out this week for finals & lets just say that all of their hard work paid off!!!  BOTH of my boys ACED all of their finals this week!!!!!  I never doubted them, but seeing them stressed out, made ME feel like "I" was doing finals too! lol..... I guess this is all part of parenting...right??  Like I said, come tomorrow,  I will be doing a HAPPY DANCE because these boys are SOOO READY for summer break & so am I!!! :)  My break will be from getting up at 6am every morning!!! hehehehe! ;)

I am SOOO LOOKING forward to next week to be back in my craft room! I have SO MANY projects in my BRAIN that NEED to get done!  Have a FABULOUS day my sweet friends & THANK YOU for stopping by!!! :) xoxo

Do Over Thursday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "DO OVER Thursday!" Today my team & I are recreating cards that we have done in the past that we were not too happy with! ;) 

Okay, here is my "original" version of this card!  I remember when I made this card & after I took the pictures of it, I did NOT like it anymore :(  So I KNEW one day I will try to redeem myself with this one!  lol…..

So now onto my new version of this card!  It's funny how us crafters can see how much we have grown "craft wise" over the years!  Is it bad to admire your OWN card???  Because I LOVE my newly revised version of this card! :)  I used an "OLDIE" but most DEFINITELY STILL A GOODIE... my "Coffee Break"REVISED.  I will ALWAYS remember when I released this set almost 4 years ago I could NOT get enough of it!  It's funny because when I searched this set on my blog….a TON of projects showed up using it! lol…..I guess I can't keep a secret that I do INDEED LOVE my coffee! ;)

 I just want to say that I AM feeling MUCH better, but when I attempt to make a video right now, I get a coughing attack!  You all know sometimes that cough that lingers with you is EXHAUSTING!  I've been taking Delsym & now it feels like it's actually starting to kick in!  I feel like I should have a 6-pack from using all my tummy muscles to cough! hahaha! 

Well, last night I double dosed on my Delsym because I wanted to watch my Anthony wrestle! 

I posted this on my Facebook last night, but I wanted to share it with all of you too here! ;) 

 I'm not sure if I mentioned that Anthony approached me last fall & told me that he wanted to wrestle!  My "Inner self" wanted to say "HECK NO",  lol…. but I saw in his eyes that this is something that he really wanted to try!  So of course I said yes & he was the HAPPIEST boy! ;)

Well, after losing his first tournament, he missed a lot of practices & a few other tournaments because he ended up getting pneumonia! When he returned to the mat for his 2nd tournament, he lost again,  BUT also badly sprained his knee :(  After being on crutches for some time, he finally returned to his practices 2 weeks ago!  Well, I thought he was NOT ready to wrestle last night, as a Mom I thought it would be "too soon" & I didn't want him to get injured again!  Well, CLEARLY I was wrong, apparently he WAS ready & he got his FIRST WIN at a sport he has NEVER done before!!! I guess the THIRD time is the charm! This kids works SO HARD & practices SO MUCH so it was WELL DESERVED!  It was SO NICE to see a HUGE SMILE on his face this time! Like I ALWAYS tell BOTH of my boys "Hard work sure does pay off!"  :)

Do Over Thursday Projects!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome back to another "Do Over Thursday!" 

Before we get started….HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE! 

Today we are showcasing cards that we have recreated from a card that we have previously made! 

Here is my card that I am recreating: 

So instead of the focal point being to the right side of the card, I created another card making the focal point on the left side of the card! 

Here is the card I made!  I thought it was fitting since New Year's Day is ALREADY tomorrow! 

I kept my card SUPER SIMPLE.  I just used clear embossing powder to emboss those rectangles from "Geo Borders" to the left of my card! Then I die cut it out using my "Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies  & More".  I also die cut the martini glass with it's accessories using my "Cocktail Party Stitched Dies", then stamped that sentiment from "You're My Pot of Gold (revised)".  Lastly I just added sequins & that tiny heart that came from the stirrer that the olive is on! :)

I just want to take the time to say…. "THANK YOU" to ALL of you for letting me do what I LOVE yet, another year!  I would not be able to do what I do without the support from all of YOU!  This has been a FABULOUS year & all I have to say is that I hope you are ready for 2016! I have some AMAZING new MCT goodies lined up already! ;)  January is going to be an EXTRA SPECIAL month because we will be celebrating our "5 Year Anniversary" of doing My Creative Time! I still can't believe it….I feel like I JUST designed my very FIRST Edition stamp set yesterday!   It went by so fast & I APPRECIATE all of "YOU" for your support because I sure would not be able to do this without all of you!
