He will be Missed

Sadly, this week the world lost Andy Griffith. 

I was deeply saddened by this. Why? Because since I was a kid I've been watching Matlock. Yes, he's known for his hit show Andy Griffith but I loved him as the ace, defense attorney Benjamin Matlock. 

I've seen every episode at least 20 times. I'm even low balling that number. No joke. 


I can remember watching it with my mom as a kid while at her workplace. I can remember being sick and home from school with my grandma. I can remember watching it in high school and college. I can remember watching it while I was living in Alabama and it being something familiar from home. 


Plus Andy Griffith and my grandpa were so much a like. Besides their physical appearance they had so many character and mannerisms that were so similar. 


Now that I'm moving to California, it'll be something that I watch and I'll always associate all these memories. I know I'm certainly sad that he's gone now. 

Friday Confessional

I confess... my Mom has started blogging! That's right, after hounding her for months she's finally made a few posts. If your interested in reading it, you can check it out here ! 


I confess... I leave for a week long vacation starting on Wednesday and I can't wait. I'll be heading to Memphis, Tennessee for Elvis Week. So if you have any tips on outlet shopping or great places to eat, etc let me know!!!

I confess... while I'm away in Memphis, I will miss my boo. He's just so cute! 


I confess... while I'm in Memphis, I can't wait to hit up one of my favorite vintage stores- Flashback Inc. They always have some great stuff! 

I confess... every morning I watch Matlock on wgn and it never gets old. I love it!

Are we up or are we down?

I don't know about you, but a pet peeve of mine is when someone can be wishy washy. I mean really...make a decision and stick to it. Trust me...it's not that difficult. 

Good news! I found out Matlock season 3 is coming out on dvd later this summer! Ok, ok...so I'm a nerd and LOVE watching Matlock. I think I've seen every episode at least 10 times. No joke!

I've seen a lot of people doing it. I think I'm going to do a questions blog here in the next few days. So keep your eyes open and start thinking about anything you may want to ask or know!
