Valentines Day Gift Guide
Last year, I went into labor on Valentines Day. Luckily for us it wasn't until around 11:00 p.m. and we were home. This year is clearly very different! While we will be celebrating Valentine's Day, I'm sure I'll also be getting things ready for Presley's birthday the very next day. Plus it’s Presley’s very first Valentines Day!
I’ve even included a little gift guide for him as well. Here’s a few things that I wouldn’t shove a bow up Cupid if he were to drop on my doorstep...
1. A puffer Coat I have been wanting a puffer coat for a few winters now. I know, I know... you think California doesn’t get that cold well guess what? I live in Northern California and it still gets very cold. This one that I’ve included is a made for Macy’s DKNY with faux fur trim hood. While it isn’t grey it makes me think of Joan Wilder in Romancing the Stone.
2. Keds I got a pair of Keds two Christmas’s ago and I literally wear them almost every day. As I’ve gotten older my feet enjoy only being in certain types of shoes and my feet love these keds. I wish I could get the exact same pair that I have now because their a salt and pepper blend and they go with a lot of the black pants that I wear but they don’t make that design anymore.
3. Ped Egg At Christmas I said I wanted a Ped Egg but apparently no one took me seriously. No really! I want a Ped Egg! Maybe it was having a baby but my feet have taken a toll lately and I have so much extra dead skin. I have seen so many people raving about the ped egg and since I have no time to actually go get a pedicure this might be the next best thing.
4. A Vacation I have always wanted to go to Hawaii and stay at the Royal Hawaiian. I use to watch Gidget Goes Hawaiian growing up all the time and she stayed at this hotel. While I’ve been to Hawaii, I didn’t stay on this island so the dream continues on. Also... Pigeon Forge because that’s my home away from home and I love it there. I wouldn’t snub my nose at either of those!
1. Mickey because Presley loves all things Mickey and we’ve got him the Christmas one and several others.
2. Books Presley loves all books but we haven’t tried pop ups yet!
3. Shoes Presley is currently standing himself up and cruising a little with the furniture but soon he’s going to walk. I think these would be great first shoes for him and they will go with a lot of outfits.
4. Drum Presley loves to beat and thump his hands on stuff and he loves all of his musical toys. I think this would be good for him.

Valentines Day Lux List
The first gift idea... a trip to Oahu to stay at the Royal Hawaiian. While we've been to Hawaii, we went to the big island. I have never been to Oahu and I would love to stay at the Royal Hawaiian. This is where they filmed Gidget Goes Hawaiian and I have loved that movie since growing up. The hotel is the scene of the entire movie and it was actually filmed there.
I mean really... who would turn down a gift of a trip to paradise?
The next luxury gift most people wouldn't snub their nose at... a Louis Vuitton handbag. This particular bag is the Siena PM. It's got a removable cross body strap so you pick how you want to carry it. Sling it over your body or carry it by the handles. Personally, this is my favorite LV print.
La Fleur Bouquets- The Petite SquareHave you seen these flower arrangements? They come in some pretty wild colors. They also last an entire year! These are real flowers! I love the idea of a mixed box of baby blue and white roses. Everyone who ever gets these always raves about how amazing they are and that they actually last an entire year. Granted, you can't remove them from the box if you want them to live!
Quality workout gear. These Adidas Alpha Bounce EM Running Sneaker and the Nike Sportswear Rally Fleece Pants. Both of these can be worn year round and will keep you looking stylish while getting your sweat on.
An extra long weekend in Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg Tennessee because duh... it's my favorite place! It's been awhile since I've been there any other month besides May, June or November. Trust me, I'll take a trip a trip there anytime someone wants to give me one. I love that area and one day we will retire there.
These are just a few of the luxury gifts, that any girl could want.

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas
Can you believe Valentines Day is just around the corner? 2017 is already moving and grooving. Just as I did with Christmas, I mentioned a few things that I'd love to have for the holiday. Since Valentine's day isn't the same level of Christmas, I kept my list short with just a few options in each category. Now before you think I'm all about stuff just remember I will fine with only getting a card. Who doesn't love a cute card from their husband and mom? With that being said here's a few things on my wish list for the year.
1. Books.
I love books. I could just read and read. I've been wanting this Mars fiction book for awhile (I love anything with going to Mars). I've recently discovered the classic series: The Dana Girls Mysteries and I'm loving how cute they are. Then of course Harry Bosch books.
2. Movies.
I am a sucker for a good Hallmark movie! I especially love their Christmas movies but they also have some other really good ones!
3. Weekend Getaway.
I've been wanting to go to Portland which is close to us so that could be a weekend. I've also been wanting to go to Wyoming which is a little further away but hey... Portland is close so is Seattle which I really liked! I can always make Pigeon Forge a weekend :) I keep hearing about all the updates to the Graceland area in Memphis. I'd love to see all of the changes!
4. A New Scarf.
I love wearing a scarf in the winter when it's cold. I usually wear it all day at my desk too. I only have a few so it's tricky to incorporate them into my wardrobe. I'd like to add a new one or two or three.
5. Christmas Village Pieces.
I put my first Christmas village up this past year and I loved it! I want to add more pieces to it in 2017 and to do that I'll need to acquire more houses, accessories and lighted buildings. I saw this little set when I was with my mom in Pigeon Forge and thought it was so cute!

Weekend Recap
Our first Valentine's Day as a married couple is in the history books. Last year we went to Las Vegas this year we were originally going to San Diego but changed our plans at the last minute. So while our actual Valentine's Day was low key we still spent time enjoying each other.
We saw, Ride Along 2.
I thought it was really funny. A lot of people have asked me if it was worth seeing it in the theater. Well.. you have it take it for what it is. It's not a movie that's going to be Oscar nominated but it's a good movie. I thought it was really funny and just as good as the first one. If you liked the first one then I think you'll like this one. Then I had a project for work to do. I volunteered to help out with this year's Valentine's Day fundraiser and ended up doing a lot of the work. We had to make 144 pretzel rods, 130 strawberries and 65 rice krispy treats. Oh the fun....
All of my hard work was rewarded though when my Valentine gave me this...
The Apple iwatch! I've wanted it since I first saw the commercial for it! I feel like a mixture of Penny from Inspector Gadget, Marty McFly and Tom Hanks in Dragnet when I wear it and that is perfect for me! I've already got the apps I want on it, got my settings adjusted and learned how to voice text! It's pretty cool if you ask me. I know some people don't love Apple products but I really do. Now I just need to get a black band as well to mix it up.
Hope you all had a very Happy Valentine's Day!

Random Things
Time is hopping. Things have been going at warp speed the last few weeks and I feel like there's been so many little and big things that have happened that I've forgot to post about. Sometimes I just haven't had the time. So here's a few things that I feel like should get pointed out...
1. Beezy got me some great gifts for Valentines day. I got a dozen roses, new Nike shoes, Nike work out pants and new underwear. Tesco got a cute towel about cat hair being a the new accessory.
2. Our Save the Dates arrived and I love them! We went with a magnet so people can have us on their fridge for an entire year. We used two photos from our Kings engagement shoot. I would post a photo but it has our wedding website and Beezy's real name on it. We got them from Wedding Paper Divas and they came in the cutest packaging and nice boxes.
I want to remember everything that happens this year as we plan our wedding so I need to get on the ball about posting! I'll do better these next few months.

3. I finally got my butt into gear and asked my Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids to officially be in my wedding party. Due to the storm hitting the east coast, only one of them have actually got their box and card. So I officially have a bridesmaid! I want to remember everything that happens this year as we plan our wedding so I need to get on the ball about posting! I'll do better these next few months.

Valentines Day Treats
Valentines Day is coming up quick! While there is a few shopping days left, I really have only asked for a card this year. Since we've got our wedding to pay for we are on a big no spending money freeze. Now if we did have a giant bundle of cash to spend, I'd love to get a few of these goodies come Valentines Day.
1. Nike Leggings...
2. This red Bebe dress...
3. A trip to Memphis...
4. A pair of Blue Suede shoes...
Aren't they all just perfect gifts?!

Happy Valentines Day
Happy Valentines Day!
or
Happy Singles Awareness Day!
Either one you are celebrating, I hope you have a fun, happy day. I've already got my Valentines Day off to a great start! I got up yesterday and made some pancakes and bacon...
Then I received some beautiful flowers. I always love getting pretty flowers. They make me smile.
And if that wasn't enough, I got two cds and a journal to complete one of my 30 before 30 tasks. I'd like to say that I'm two days into that challenge and I've 28 more days till I can cross that off my list. As for the two cds I got...
My mom sent me a box in the mail with tons of treats in it. I got a new holiday decoration for my foyer table. I got an entire Chocolate heart box and some Elvis posters. Love him! I can't wait to get some frames for them.
Now it's on to San Francisco this weekend for a little bit of fun. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend. If you're single go spend the day with the people who make you smile!

Theater Thursday
It's Thursday and that can only mean one thing... it's Theater Thursday! Since this is February aka the month of love, I'm going to feature romantic themed movies for this month! This week's featured movie is, Love Actually.
Is it wrong to do this movie for any other reason besides Christmas? I don't think so. Love Actually is all about love and relationships so I think that makes it a good one to talk about for the month of love. Love Actually has an all star cast and all of them are revolving around LOVE. There's the aging rock star who's had great fame but is now lonely. There's the Prime Minister of England who finds himself attracted to one of his younger co-workers. Then there's the brand new widower who is going to have to learn to love again. There's the married couple who may or may not be falling out of love. Love knows no language barrier and this movie proves it in one relationship.
While this movie revolves about love and relationships it also focuses on friendships. It shows best friends, new friends, old friends and families together. It shows how love can affect those friendships.
This movie is a classic. It just celebrated it's 10th Anniversary of release and it's become a cult favorite across the world. A lot of people will classify this movie as Christmas because it spans over Thanksgiving and Christmas but I think it's a good one all year long. I can remember watching it over and over the summer that it came out. I think I pay previewed it at least 10 times in two months. I'd hate to go back and see that bill. Anyways... if you've never seen these love stories check it out!
