Hello! This week at Topflight Stamps, we're focusing on a sweet brand called Chou & Flowers. I used Lemon Flower, which has a filigree frame and lemon flowers and leaves. I stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, fussy cut and colored those, and set aside. I stamped the frame with embossing ink, sprinkled on WOW! Embossing Powder in Silver Smudge and used a heat tool to set it, and trimmed it. On my white cardstock background, I sprayed Lavinia Spring Moss, spritzed with a little water, and set aside to dry. Once dry, I used Darkroom Door Small Stencil "Crackle" and Studio Light Stencil Paste in Gold (Silver featured here) to create some shimmery interest along the bottom half of card. The Chou & Flowers frame and lemon flowers were glued on top, and little pearls from Hunkydory were added to the flower centers.

Shabby Chic Tag
Hello all! I'm back to share a tag I made to send to a sweet young friend who is working as a missionary to reach college age youth. I started with a manila tag and some Lindy's Stamp Gang "Buccaneer Blue" spray, and a Darkroom Door "Small Starry Night" stencil. The spray is really neat, and it's hard to see the beautiful shimmer. At the bottom of the tag, you can see the blue shift (also near the grommet at the top) whereas most of the tag is a walnut color. This one spray gives both colors, very cool! I took a snippet from an old hymn book and sprayed it as well, and pasted it as a backdrop. The crown, ticket, and "no. 7" label are all from a generic brand stamp set, stamped and fussy-cut. The little roses were on a Christmas card from the young lady who has since received this tag. I liked the tiny pops of color.
Thanks so much for joining me!
God bless you!

Starry Birthday
Hello! This week at Topflight Stamps, we are sharing our star-themed creations. I've got a starry birthday card to show, which positively GLITTERS in person, thanks to Spectrum Noir Glitter Paste in Candlelight Gold and the Darkroom Door Starry Night Small Stencil. The glitter paste is a dream to spread over a stencil, goes on easily and give such a 'wow' factor. The background panel is navy, which is a good contrast for the gold stars. The white panel was made with with a Crealies Stitched Rectangle, on which a sentiment from Visible Image Go To Words was stamped. I finished it up with some gold star ribbon trim from my stash, and a few red stars.

Noel Robin
Hi all! Today I am sharing a Christmas card using a few stamp sets from Topflight Stamps. One of my fave sets is Visible Image - Christmas Robin. It has images of birds, holly leaves and berries, a branch and sentiments. Very versatile! For my card, I started with a manila tag from the office supply store and stamped the large robin with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Overtop the robin I stamped Darkroom Door Sheet Music to cover most of the tag, with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves ink. I went back to the Visible Image Robin set and stamped on a separate piece of cardstock the holly leaves and berries, colored and fussy-cut them. They were added to the bottom corner near the bird's feet. At the top of the tag, I tied a twine bow and then added a teensy little tag, which was stamped with "noel". This is from AALL & Create - Define Christmas stamp set. I inked up just that one word to add to the cute little tag. That is one way to stretch your stamps - ink up just a portion of a sentiment.
