NRAR: since the previous post, Terrorizer released two new albums worth a complete repost. Despite the bad press about Caustic Attack, it is an amazing release: fast, sharp, terrorizing! At least as good as its awesome predecessor Hordes Of Zombies with less of the lightning fast metal picking and more of the grindcore avalanche. And now there is a live album to top it all, and I must admit it does not totally fulfill my expectations. It delivers mostly classic songs through apt performances and the production is ok. Maybe a stronger or a more noisy production could have made it a monster, but here the strings are a bit too muddy, or not distorted enough. Good document anyway to celebrate the 30th anniversary of World Downfall! TerrorizerrRrrRRrrRRrRrRRrRRRrrR!!!!!!

The deathstival is ending. Back from the picnic. Thanks for your support. Let's see how it unfolds. Time to have Terrorizer sing the song. Incredibly, it took all these years to have a Terrorizer post. In 1987, the Napalm Death Peel Session floored my meat for its unparalleled savagery. A similar experience reiterated in 1989 with World Downfall. This time, since we were already accustomed to the sound of the grinding death that ND made popular, it was more about the shining perfection of the aural sledgehammer, the military execution the the thrashing blast fest, the merciless surgical chainsaws. It is only logical that WD has remained the grindcore bible. Welcome To Hell, Reign In Blood, Peel Session, World Downfall. Recorded and mixed in 8 hours, for zer's sake. Yes, Darker Days Ahead was not as exciting as expected, but it is still a great album. Hordes Of Zombies is much better and a classic already thanks to its killer riff factory and the general bulldozing it provides. Terrorizer larger than ever triplazer!!!
PS: yes, the last 3 Nausea songs are missing. This is a rip I did in 1996, and rescued from a CDR. The missing songs cannot be read, the CDR is fucked, and I cannot re-rip the LP (sold it long ago). The universe is harsh. I was told this week that I have no clue about the true nature of the universe.

Terrorizer - demo

Terrorizer - demo, USA 1988
The kings' demo from the Headache vinyl bootleg. This is at the same time awesome and useless since every song appears tighter, faster and with better production on "world downfall". Yes, but this is TERRORIZER!!! ZER!!!
Vinyl rip without all the Nausea tracks, I never really cared for Nausea but I was wrong and now I just sold the LP. Zer.
