While this is being fixed, let us drool over this unbelievable black bomb of Polish destruction. Poland, the new black metal Mecca! Featuring evil people also involved in Mord A Stigmata, Mgla, Odraza, Medico Peste and other supreme kings of perfect sonic obliteration and soul munching, Totenmesse sculpt your inner and outer meat with such finesse and lightning speed that you beg for more - I often repeat-play this CD. Their black metal is simultaneously very sophisticated and extremely vicious, plus they deliver the best King Crimson cover this side of physical existence. No "atmospheric" shit here, only twisted fast riffs and evil complexities to crush skulls and melt brains in pure Easter Europe fashion. No war metal either: the brutality here is calculated and engineered from a control bunker, there is no bestial invasion of the Archgoat or Revenge sort. Totenmesse just exploit the best of both worlds: black terror and evil surgery, and deliver actual songs with personality instead of a rectangular blur of noisegression (I have nothing against rectangular blurs, but today we reach another level).
