Reparation being due, here comes an update with many live recordings that no true PL fan can afford to miss, especially that Roadburn recording with the entire Gothic album. This live rendition of the Church's favorite PL album is an absolute must, it is so great that the Church took the pain of slicing the single FLAC file into tracks (if you go to the Bandcamp page, the whole thing sits in a single track). Now do not discriminate against the other releases. Paradise Lost rules on the stage, as do the studio albums of the past decade. Doom 'til death 'til zer! The first three LPs have been a major pillar of the Church of Zer since they were offered to the ecstatic masses. The beautiful ugliness of this slow dirge was all that was needed after the introduction by Distortion X and Hellhammer to the much revered slow paces of doom. Icon was a downer with its offensive Metallica mimicking, but appears a great album nonetheless. However the following releases triggered none of these positive feelings, although I heard some good stuff from the last couple of albums. But nothing beats the early stuff, especially  that brutal live bootleg yellow EP, argh! Long live the early 90s! Doom until the spine goes back into the skull!
