The Rammer rip made me realize a little late that a few weeks ago I inadvertently switched on a setting that introduced a 2 second blank between each sound file. No big deal except for live recordings where this blank really is annoying so I regenerated the affected live releases (glad that I am so lazy and do not cleanup the computer that often, I still had the wav files) No new rips, just better file separation for these classic killer thrashing monsters. The Rammer rip was also cleaned-up & reloaded, in case you got the bad version with blanks between songs. Sorry for the fuck-up. Take this as another tribute to this classic icon of US hardcore. Especially these albums, for they are their best (according to any PhD in MDC). And it is another hike on nostalgia hill, especially as the band I was playing in in 1990 (Ovorof) opened for them in Lyon. Hardcore kingdom giant rezer! Millions of Dear Clocks! Requested rezer of the one and only legend. The 1982 album is among the hottest genre defining records to come out of the post-John Wayne years. It is the maximum classic, the tallest banger, the very shiniest prototype of the whole hardcore taxonomy. Of course the other records are good and great too, absolutely do not miss the EPs comp, the live album and This Blood's For You. Triplazer. I will never brag enough about my old band opening for them in 1990 (the year after we had opened for Scream, Dave Grohl era. Fuck yeah. Too old, too cold). Now we need someone to write a song "Will Smith was a cretin". And "Bruce Willis was a flatulence". PS: yeah I will reload the Submissives album too if you need it. You need it. Maximum Disruptive Complimentary rezer! PS2: high volumes of download today, maximum bandwidth to be reach very soon, then wait until 3 PM EST to have it reset. Sorry. !ZER MDC ZER! It's so classic that the incredible 1st album still sounds as fresh and as powerful as ever. That's what pioneers do. And of course they were amazing live (and still must be). My band even had the privilege to open for them in '89 or '90 (Lyon). Favourites? Dead Cops, Damn Christians, Elvis and the 7" comp. Zer factor explosion!
