Holy Moses - Redefined Mayhem, 2014 CD Album Steamhammer - SPV 266022 CD Titanic Teutonic thrash explosion! Megavirulence in long trains of anvils! HM released almost only classic albums, to Erosion | Slayer fans. Agony and Strength are maybe less exciting, but the newest one Redefined Mayhem returns to the level of masterpiece in thrashattackness - way better than the latest Destruction, Tankard or Kreator. More blasphemy: on average for the past 30 years, HM have released more intense, Sodom-level and simply better albums than Destruction, Tankard and Kreator. Eternal thrash 'til triplarezer! Remove brackets and unzip: [too zer] !ZER Holy Moses ZER! |
Queen Of Siam (+ Walpurgis Night demo), 1985/1986 Finished With the Dogs, 1987 The New Machine of Liechtenstein, 1989 World Chaos, 1990 World Chaos - 1 World Chaos - 13 Terminal Terror, 1991 Reborn Dogs, 1992 Too Drunk to Fuck, 1982/1991/1993 No Matter What's the Cause, 1994 Master of Disaster, 2001 Disorder of the Order, 2002 Strength Power Will Passion, 2005 Agony of Death, 2008 Temple Of The Absurd - Absurd, 1993 Yessssssssss 80s German thrash metal!!!! More of the best in all its brutal glory! Definitely into my 8GTTT (80s German Thrash Top Ten), Holy Moses was noticed for the female singer that could match any throat in Sodom or Kreator. Inhuman and unbelievable for the time! Holy Moses were also noticed because they've produced some of the MOSTEST KILLER RIPPER GRINDER THRASH METAL EVER, with lots of hardcore influences. The most intense albums are probably the dirty Reborn Dogs and No Matter What's The Cause, yet all the others are also first class death machines with insane riffing and merciless rhythm sections. Two words : Sodom | Slayer. AWESOME ARTILLERY OF MEGA ARMAGGEDDON DEATH ZERRRRRRRRRRRRR!R !R !R!!R!RR!R!RRRRRR !R! R! !R!R!R! !R !R! !R!R!RR! R! !R! R! R! !RRRRRRR!!RRRRR!!!R R! !R R!!RRRRRR !R! R!R!R!R!RR!R!R!RR! RR ! More data: Too Drunk To Fuck is the 19 tracks version (with the Black Metal cover that features Cronos and Warpath - this is the track that also appears on the first Warpath album!) The Beastie Boys cover gets on my nerves. The DRI cover makes me joyful. Dan Lilker of Brutal Truth plays the bass on No Matter What's The Cause. Temple Of The Asburd was Warpath + Sabina Classen, here is one album (is the second one good ?). CD rip. Holy Moses website Buy Holy Moses CDs!!! |
Dirty Rotten LP + Violent Pacification + compilation tracks, 1983/1984 (1987 RR reissue) Live At CBGB, 1984 Dealing With It!, 1985 Crossover, 1987 4 of A Kind, 1988 Thrash Zone, 1989 Definition, 1992 Live, 1994 Full Speed Ahead, 1995 We Don't Need Society - Tribute To D.R.I., 2002 BOOTLEGS: bootlegs bootlegs + demo thanks Hardy! The D.R.I. post is mandatory, especially after yesterday's. The cult of D.R.I. will continue through the centuries as long as humanity counts people smart enough to be into crossover. Dealing With It! is a member of the Eternal Zer Top 10 (I should be careful not to pack more than 150 titles in the EZT10!). Yet all the records are still as amazing as ever, I'm not going to waste your time on inept praise, just thrash 'til zer! D.R.I. FOREVER!CD rip. I lost my 1982 live tape with the Jesus artwork, sorry... The Dirty Rotten CD features the 1987 remix, I'm too lazy to rip the original LP (no I'm not a happy owner of the EP!). Anyway I enjoy the mix on this CD better, and it has the murderous Violent Pacification 7". All rips are from original RR/Metal Blade/Rotten Records releases, I didn't buy any of the more recent reissues with bonus demos and live. The tribute features living legends such as the Fartz, Holy Moses (cover from Reborn Dogs), Ratos De Porao, L'Amico Di Martucci, Total Fucking Destruction, Mr Bungle, Capitalist Casualties etc. 37 tracks total!
