Heavy metal and punk thrash at their most zerrest! If you got the previously loaded Raven and Exploited things, you only need from this post: Raven's Extermination CD (the amazingly hot 2015 release) and Break The Chain EP, and The Exploited's Computers Don't Blunder 7'' (although I'm pretty sure it itself was featured on a compilation CD). All the rest was already posted from CD rips, use bandwidth only if you need a nostalgia trip through the inferior quality of vinyl. Now bang your head until the bones crack!! The request that could no longer be delayed: here comes the spitting flag of primitive punk destruction. One Saturday afternoon around the time of the crowning of Charlemagne, I helped my mother with the groceries and picked Troops Of Tomorrow at the local supermarket because there were zombies on the front cover and because it was released (in my corner of the universe) on the same label as Saxon, which I was already an infinite fan of (and still am). And then I was totally blown away by all the rage and chainsaws on that record. As raw and obnoxious as No Sleep Til Hammersmith! Everything louder than everything else! I hadn't heard Discharge yet, but even after that ritual had been accomplished, the Exploited have remained a constant and guilty pleasure. Troops and Let's Start A War are completely unavoidable street punk classics, but every other entry in their discography is a must too. The grafting of metal riffs make The Massacre and especially Beat The Bastard incredibly killer crossover albums, bang that head that doesn't bang!
