The name was pretty stupid (already in the 80s), but the music was great even if I found their early (1979-1984) punk rock stuff to be not that amazing. However after 85 they sped thing up a lot and here are the best of their releases. The LP is the fast and juicy speedcore attack you'd get mixing Erosion with Heresy, it is Austria's hidden masterpiece beyond Pungent Stench, Sigmund, Friedrich H and Arnold (I'll leave the rectangle-moustache dude out for the moment). If you think Extrem sound a lot like the very amazing Cold World, it's because 3/4 of Extrem formed Cold World in the late 80s (CW post coming up in a foreseeable future).
