Thrash metal über alles! An underground hit in the late 80s,  Epidemic managed to keep it fresh although they displayed very low originality. But with twelve tons of intensity per song, that builds up personality: rage, blood, cannibals as in a blast of The Accüsed | Angkor Wat through an Exodus | Sacrilege BC blender. For more modern references, addicts like me of the Hacked To Death album by Detherous will find in early Epidemic the origin of their happiness. Then the frantic crossover of the Epidemic demos, my favorite of the lot, matured into darker things on the last two albums. More downward tunnels, less speed, still heavy thrashing. Amazering thrasherizing screaming riff machine!

Epidemic

the truth of what will be, USA 1989
decameron, USA 1992
lament 7", USA 1994
exit paradise, USA 1994
More monster Bay Area thrash!! I was literally blown away when "the truth of what will be" came out, an insanely virulent thrash beast on the trails of early Exodus and the Accüsed. The following albums are also great thrash containers with an increase in complexity and arrangements, again not unlike Exodus. The 7" features an Ozzy and a DBC cover + 2 other songs (an unreleased and one from Exit Paradise if I'm not mistaken). Exploding ZER!!!
CD rip, except Lament = vinyl rip
