Volcano - Juggernaut, 2016 CD Album Metallic Core - MC-008 Extraordinaire array of masterpieces! Forgotten titles or new releases to complement past posts. Amazing noise only: the hidden and superb 24/7 Spyz live album is pure bliss of fusion metal soul by the pound, none more rocking! 25 years later, A.R.G. deliver a new beast of a thrash metal monster comeback that delights anyone into the newest Assassin. Backwater came back too three years ago in heavy shape after 27 years of silence, crunchier and more Teutonic than ever, zer! The new Discharge is their best release since 1982, bang your head to the riff machine! The Ghoul nostalgia engine is as virulent as ever, all hail to 80s thrash and crossover! Japanische Kampfhörspiele are back again to ripping the last strand of you neuron with grinding precision. The R.D.P. classic tribute to Brazilian HC was missing all this time, sorry. Funeral doom and Skepticism are one for all and all for us: another exceptional album of total gloom and dissolution into the zeriverse of slow death - the album being recorded live in front of an audience makes it all the more gripping. Tau Cross fulfill the glands of Amebix disciples: featuring the Baron, Away from Voïvod and the guitarists from Misery and War/Plague, this is one side-project that surpasses the harmonic mean of the parts (thanks to a Tank vibe, yes!) and we need another one quickly, or a new Amebix, yes now yes. Volcano are back with an amazing thrash missile that might even be better than Melt, crunchy, fast, melodic, addictive at the level of the latest Death Angel and Artillery. Masterpieces only! The majority of expressed opinions points to an increase of the punk posts. Unfortunately, my collection being what it is, I will run out of punk before metal. Punk has not progressed as well as metal during the past three decades. Where are the Howls Of Ebb, Cobalt or Execration of punk? Congratulations to the Oï and Emo voters! |

01. Discharge - Why, 1981 Vinyl, 12", Mini-Album, 45 RPM Clay Records - PLATE 2 Rezer. In the Discharge post, there was no Why rip, as accurately mentioned in the comments. My excuse was that the tracks could be found (but not all) on various compilations. The true truth was that I could not put my hands on the record. After some serious basement cleanup and records alphabetical sorting, the record emerged. Here it is. Aaaaaaaaaaah. !ZER Discharge ZER! Remove brackets and unzip: [Zersday] |

Let us drink the Eternal Milk from The Mother Of Everything. A bit of blasphemy here : they may not match the similarily hard rock album from Rattus or Broken Bones, but Grave New World and Massacre Divine are actually quite enjoyable. Of course at first they had the Cold Lake effect and many barf bags were used, but after a few decades of training one can appreciate them. To get into the shocking vocals of Grave New World, I put myself in Upsidedown Cross mode and it works. There's even an epic 14 minutes long song. Massacre Divine is heavier metal, with vocals almost back to almost normal, as far as The More I See or The Price Of Silence are concerned. Then I find the greasy Shooting Up The World really excellent, in a Prong way. And the 21st century stuff is a great return to the classic sound, as much the 2002 album with the classic lineup as the recent stuff with the Varukers singer. Natürlich, even though nowadays particles beat the speed of light, the first law of Nature remains unchallenged: we all live in DISCHARGE 1982! DEEP PURPLE - SAXON - GBH! JUDAS PRIEST - IRON MAIDEN - THE EXPLOITED! THIN LIZZY - RAVEN - BROKEN BONES! SEX PISTOLS - VENOM - GIRLSCHOOL! BLACK SABBATH - MOTÖRHEAD - DISCHARGE! They know how to do it in the UK, bastards.
