The Church loves to indulge into guilty gluttony of the heaviest sort. For this Christmas, the dessert overflows with proteins and nitroglycerine.
First, a 2017 reissue of the 8186 double live album from Loudness that expands now to a spectacular 4 CDSs set, with a complete revisitation of the original show through a stellar 2017 performance; some bands rerecord their albums, Loudness also rerecord their live albums, because they are touching God.
Then the orgy of novelties descends upon the true zerist like the avalanche it is expected to be when one sees the menu, but more once the aural conduits are compressed by so much divinity; the new Ningen-Isu, the new Gotsu-Totsu-Kotsu, the new Doom albums are marvels beyond the dimensions of zerism, each in their respective crafts outdoing what they are already worshipped for; a true nativity in riffs. Fans of these living monuments of soundgasm already know in their flesh that they are entering Heaven. Non-fans are not real humans.
And then we conclude this overwhelming mass of excitement and power with a superb remaster of the 2009 Dead Head album. The original mix was maybe too bright for some, this remaster makes it a little more muddy and dark, not sure if it was a great improvement. But the great incentive to acquire this double-CD is the killer live album included in the package. This band simply rips in a live setting, this recording is a teeth-removing thrash metal experience that also reduces your head to a small heap of dust. Hostile and heavy like Exodus, savage like Sodom, at the speed of Sadus on fire. Thrash 'til fucking zer!!!

Play everything louder than everything else! Triplazering head-smashing Christmas from hell!!!

NRAR: a Dead Head refresh is in order to loudly start the 15th season of the Church. This visceral thrash attack that fortifies the heaviest of Exodus to the extremes of Sadus, Inquisitor, Wehrmacht and pre-1987 Kreator propels the true thrashonaut through the black tunnel of final ecstasy. The new album Slave Driver is another deadly missile in their arsenal, no serious thrashotheque is complete without it. Dead Head deserve much more worship and front page exposure than what they have been receiving for the past 30 years. The Church worships Dead Head as much as Sodom, not a light statement. Amen. Thrash 'til terminal bliss! Fast, sharp and ripping 'til triplazering explosions of the wicked!

Novelty post: Unaussprechlichen Kulten, Dead Head, Disorder

03. Disorder - Fuego Negro, 2017 CD Album
Symbol Of Domination Prod, Morbid Skull Records - SODP092, MSR-XX
Let us enjoy a short burst of novelty with three magnificent new releases that complete previous posts by these killer bands.
Chile's UK are back with their most monstrous avalanche of death. On the surface, this is death metal. But dive deeper and get floored by the tortuous riffing that fuels the creepy atmosphere of desperate disgust for being digested by giant wet black beasts. UK do not operate on extra speed nor crazy technicality, they create their own weird nihilistic blackiverse, and this release pushes its envelop further. Awesome, awesome! More death!
Dead Head are back after 8 years with a new bomb that sits well at the top of their violent discography. This new album relentlessly shoots straight forward missiles of thrash metal with an 80s Kreator foundation at your head and when it is over, you press play again, because you must. More intense than Exodus! Bleed! Bang that head!
El Savaldor's Disorder increment their thrashing with this new and too short release that almost surpasses their brilliant 2014 album. More first class raging thrash metal with another old Kreator vibe. The Spanish singing makes it all the more powerful and visceral, and the riffs go a step further in catchiness and intricacy, without being show-off, but sometimes almost melodic. Terrific and skin-burning! This is probably my favorite thrash metal release of the year, it must become an underground classic. I am unable to find their first album Voces De La Tumba, anyone willing to sell a CD or send a FLAC rip earns a reload.

04. Dead Head - Come To Salem, 2000 CD
     Hammerheart Records - HUW009, Compilation
     1-6, 13: Festering demo 1990, 6-7: Shark demo 1995, 8: 1991 rehearsal, 9-10: from comp Metal in Rocks Volume II 1989, 11: Kill Division 1999 outtake

06. Dead Head - Depression Tank, 2008 CD
     Displeased Records - D-00183
The vicious and brutal sonic blast of Dead Head deserves an augmented reload. Their Saxon cover (on Kill Division) is amazing. Come To Salem is the 1989 demo on CD and sounds better than the Feast album. Dream Deceiver goes more into the twisted slug area, in an excellent manner. Compression of early Kreator | Indestroy with the heat of Cryptic Slaughter. This so very intense and fast. This whole condensed, critical-mass defenestration is on the menu of the serious thrash metal fan. Hotter than contemporary Exodus! Thrash madness till rezer!!!

For more brutality, let's mention the new Evil Dead. It's not often I find a movie tolerable; this one has a good pace and lots of gore, it's fun, good recycling.

Dead Head

The Feast Begins At Dawn, 1991
Dream Deceiver, 1993
Kill Division (+ 9 live tracks), 1999
Haatland, 2005
Depression Tank, 2009
Dead Head are in the business of pulverizing all your bones from the head down, absolute zer! Here is some of the most ripping thrash metal ever released! I can only think of Slayer, Kreator, Sadus and Morgoth locked up for a week in a room with the fiercest of Raw Power blasted at 11. On top of that the 9 bonus live tracks on Kill Division show how incredible this band really is.
Favorites: the last three albums for the renewed non-stop savagery that exceeds that of many grindcore releases. The Feast is also an excellent debut, fast and raw with a hammer-touch of the amazing Entrance album by A.R.G., while Dream Deceiver is more complex, darker and with many heavy slow sections. A lesson in violent thrashing ZERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!R!R! !R!R!RR !R! R! R! !RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! R! !R !R !R !R! R RR!R !R !R! RR! R!! R R! !R! R !R !RR R !R !R! R! RRRRR !R! R! R!! !R !RR!R! ! ! ! !
