There have always been claims from trve experts that BC are the trve inventors of heavy metal, not Black Sabbath, because their version of Summertime Blues is loud, nasty, distorted and anterior to the Black Sabbath album. Whatever.  BC released a batch of great bluesy rock albums in the early 70s and in the 80s some nasty hard rock.  Favorites: The Beast Is Back and Blitzkrieg Over Nüremberg.
