No listen, straight to the cashier. And back home I was floored! This killer heavy thrashing metal was as evil, raw and fast as Venom! Straightforward bulldozing metal! And catchy as hell! The next two records were more polished, less intense, yet still excellent in their hard rocking way. Bow down to the most classic output from the Belgian scene! Zer on wheels! Look at this marvel : a picture disc in a gatefold cover with a poster. This is an object you do want to own - it is something you need actually. The sound is a bit thin but not saturated and there are clearly no overdubs. True Acid fans buy a copy of this most excellent release and smile all day! Hurry, there are only 500 copies. Acid - acid + maniac, Belgium 1982/1983 80s totally CULT heavy/speed double-bass drum metal, another soundtrack to my youth. Acid managed to displayed influences from early Motörhead, Venom, Saxon and let's add Girlschool for the sake of female vocals.
