First I will scare many by stating that Carbonized is essentially a sub-Therion thing, yes, Therion, the Swedish nightmarish knight of elevator dragons, Therion, the high priest of suburban princess-metal. Of course there is a but: BUT Carbonized has musically nothing to do with tv-commercial romantic heavy metal. The first 2 Carbonized records feature fast primitive death metal, and pretty cool at it, in the vein of, yet not as enjoyable as, the first Brutal Truth album. Subtle prog riff twisting already surface here. Then things become drastically fantastic with the last 2 albums : these are masterpieces of progressiveness and mind altering pulses at the crossroads of Victims Family with blast beats, King Crimson with anger and the most experimental of dissonant Voïvod. Just download if you don't believe, unbeliever. You nucleus accumbens will flow with large streams of dopamine.
