At long last, it is Doom's day. They are probably the most famous first generation Discharge imitators. This is semi classic, since nobody can outdischarge Discharge. But Doom are an excellent prelude to second generation Discharge clones like Skitsystem, Disfear, Wolfpack. Nowadays I lost tracks of the Discharge clones family tree, I don't know who the leaders of the third generation are. So I'll stick to Doom and the second generation to fulfill my lust for crust, until the next Discharge craving erupts.

Last minute findings in my cellar that belong to previous posts, and a healthy Septic Death compilation loaded by Igor (thanks again).

Bathory

demo with a couple of unreleased tracks, the roots of black metal in all their glory. Bang your head! Comes from a bootleg with Venom on the other side, which should be available on another blog in a not too extended future.

Concrete Sox

the classic 1985 (not 1986 !) album reripped in its entirety (a song was missing from the last post, I cheated and used an old CD rip). Message from Vic: "Your Turn Next is from 1985 (I wrote it). We recorded this album between November/December 1984. It was released May 1985.
I am the founder member/guitarist/manager of Concrete Sox. The new line-up will tour from June 8th 2013...
Vic Timoveric (Concrete Sox)...
Help the bands you love by buying the albums! Your Turn Next + Whoops Sorry Vicar 2012 re-releases at concretesox.org.
Coloured vinyl or CD with unreleased rare/bonus tracks (chosen/edited by me)...
vic@concretesox.org"
Cheers! BTW, do not miss the extra demos and live downloads from the CS website, amazing!

The Accüsed/Morphius

excellent 7" with Brutality & Corruption from the Accüsed (same version as on Hymns, I think).

NoNoYesNo/Haywire

NoNoYesNo cover Judas Priest's Breaking The Law, Haywire cover Black Sabbath's Symptom Of The Universe, bang your head again!

Stealth

other amazing hip hop disc by Bad Brains's Darryl Jennifer project, extra great!

Septic Death

another discography compilation, the return of the darkness and evil!

The Exploited

how could I forget this one... zer and violence with a Japanese crowd!

Gastunk

the 1988 ep from the ultra classic Mother album and its incredible hard rock, and the new mini 2010 album, which I do hope is only the vanguard of more releases. Listen to Gastunk everyday and stay alive forever.

Requested, reloaded! Your Turn Next! This is classic crossover of typical British punk and metal for fans of Broken Bones and English Dogs. I also have the CD bootleg version of the split with Heresy, but since it is a vinyl rip with more cracks & pops than mine, I didn't see the point of uploading it. This split was the bomb of 1987, and it still rips today! No I do not have the recent reissues with all the bonus tracks from demos. At tea with Satan!

Extreme Noise Terror / Driller Killer, 2007
Law of Retaliation, 2009
Phil Vane, singer of E.N.T., passed away last month at 46. We will continue to enjoy his torture vocals though the immense legacy of Extreme Noise Terror, masters of all things crust, grind and death. I initially bought the Earslaughter split as a Chaos UK fan, but once I had heard the E.N.T. side, I had a much broader, drooling smile. E.N.T. brought the early crust thrash sound of Discharge | Terveet Kädet | Rattus | Mob 47 | Ratos De Porao to new levels of abrasion and speed. The Peel Sessions (with Mick Harris of Napalm Death on drums) and Phonophobia are landmark crustgrindcore monsters!! Their insane aggression is the Rolls Royce of the genre, and they even excelled at death metal with the amazing Damage 381 (with Barney from Napalm Death on vocals) and the head crushing Being And Nothing - one pulverizing exercise in super fast death metal. The Law Of retaliation combines both styles, with an emphasis on thrashing crust mania. ACH!
