You Know You're In Texas

When you see a gate entrance with
The flag of Texas
and
The shape of the state.

I drove upon this great entrance gate in the country
a few weeks ago.

I love the rustic charm of the rusty flag and state shape.
These details in the center,
really give the gate some interest and character.

Just down the road a bit more
is a beautiful wood split rail that seemed to run for miles.

So serene, peaceful and calm.
Look how green the grass is getting.
The trees were budding here but hard to see in the photo.
Hope to take photos of Bluebonnets soon.

See you next time!

A Special Texas Gate and Fence!

Hi Friends~
Welcome to Good Fences.
Today I have a special gate and fence to share
found in Crawford, Texas

Against a gorgeous blue sky, Broken Spoke stands out.

The artwork is so Texas with the cactus, coyote, deer and wagon wheels.

Flanked with Texas Sage lining the drive on both sides
and
when in bloom, it will be a gorgeous purple.

So happy to have found this one.
Don't you love it?

Wishing you a wonderful day.
See you soon~

Good Fences

Hi Friends~
Is it Thursday already?
That makes it a Good Fence day once again.

Today I have a bit of white in an elegant style iron fence and entrance~

and~
an old wood rustic white fence with cactus growing by a tree.

I love the rustic, need of paint fence more then the elegant style.

What do you prefer?

Have a great day!

Good Fences

Greetings Friends
and
Welcome to another Thursday
for

I found this fence interestingly created from large sticks.

Not sure a good wind wouldn't knock it down,
but it looks to be tied securely to stay put.

Just down a bit from the stick fence was a Texas Oil Well
 Fenced in with barbed wire.

Hope you have a great day.
Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon.

Be Blessed,
Celestina Marie

Good Fences

Welcome to this week's

Traveling down the road a piece~
We see this view of an old homestead, windmill, gorgeous fields and cows grazing.

Life is simply and uncomplicated!

We come to a spot with horses.
Love the one to the left as he came a running
to see who we were.

This beauty didn't pay any attention to us and kept right on grazing.
He is happy with his good fence.

Look at his gorgeous eyes and ombra colored tail.
Ladies pay big bucks to get that look!!! LOL

Driving down the road a little further,
we find these three longhorns behind the barbed wire fence.
They never stopped munchin either.
Guess it was dinner time for all.

Thank you for stopping by.
