My recent manis, glitter and holographic nails
Since my posting has become quite sporadic lately I realised I haven't posted my manicures for quite some time. So here are some of my favourite manis of the last few months. Most of them are holographic or glitter nails as expected ^_^
More pictures and details under the cut.

The Dragon goes to Hong Kong
Hello everyone ^_^/
As I mentioned in my previous post, in early September I went on a very exciting trip to one of my favourite locations in the world, Hong Kong. While packing my suitcase I was trying to decide what to do with my nails and since this was a business trip I decided to wear something that would bring me luck.
My nail polish of choice was Dragon from a england, a fabulous holographic green nail polish from the Legend collection.

Estessimo TiNS haul, magical bottles full of glitter
Hello everyone ^_^
Today I want to share with you one of my most favourite nail polish brands. In my opinion, it's maybe the best right next to Anna Sui. Years ago when most brands just had red, pink and sheer colours, this brand was showering nail art enthusiasts with glitter. It's none other than Estessimo TiNS, a Japanese nail polish brand. I first found out about it, while reading Japanese magazines and every time I was in Japan I would pick up a bottle or two.

HITS No Olimpo Hera
Hello everyone ^_^/
It is almost the weekend so it is a good time for something glamorous. Nothing fits the bill better that the HITS no Olimpo series. As soon as I saw swatches of these gorgeous holographic nail polishes I knew I wanted to get my hands on some of them. An added plus is the Ancient Greek theme.
Today I will show you HITS No Olimpo Hera, a beautiful teal holographic nail polish.
As a holo lover I have to say, this nail polish is fabulous! If you love holographic nail polishes as much as I do, you should definitely try this brand ^_^

I wore two coats of Hera, over NfuOh's aqua base (my base coat of choice when it comes to wearing holos), sealed with a coat of Seche Vite top coat. It went chip free for 7 days. Below you can see how the colour looks in the daytime. The holo effectt is visible even in the shade.
I tried to capture the effect as best I could as winter is not the best time to photograph nail polishes. Still as you can see the holo is definitely eye catching.

New Glitter Gal holographic colours
Hello everyone ^_^/
I have been absent from the blog for a while as I went on a much needed vacation.
But I haven't been neglecting my nails. Quite the contrary!
Since I went to the sea, I decided to try out the new Glitter Gal holographic colours that my dear 'Chelle sent me. The weather was really good and sunny so it was perfect for trying them out and snapping some photos.
So without further ado I present to you Glitter Gal's Light As a Feather and Lizard Belly (as seen from left to right on the above photo).
I am always impressed by Glitter Gal's fantastic nail polishes as they are always top quality and these two didn't disappoint me at all. I applied 3 layers and a coat of Seche Vite on top.
Here is a bonus shot under artificial light, holding my favourite Kuromi water bottle which is holographic too ^_^
What do you think of these, dear readers? Have you tried this brand before?
If you are a holo freak like me, I suggest you give Glitter Gal a go. You won't be disappointed.

Nails, nails and more nails!
Hello everyone ^_^/
As my vacation goes on, I wanted to show you some nails I did for friends lately.
First up is a holographic mani with a gothic feel that I did for my friend Sophia BSC.
I used NfuOh #63 and Deborah Lipmann Bad Romance as my base colours. Adding some black BarryM crackle and a few Japanese nail decals, the end result was quite impressive ^_^
Next up is P. She is my best friend since forever and she generally doesn't like painting her nails. But when she saw Hard Candy's Mr Right she wanted to give it a go. After applying two coats of the polish I used a coat of the BYS matte top coat for a more interesting look. She loved it and said it looked like leather.
And finally the usual suspect, T-chan. I always love doing her nails as she has such pretty hands and nails perfect for every look. This time we went for a simple duochrome that I picked up at Claire's when I was in Vienna. The colour changes from blue to green, with hints of purple.
That's all from me for today.
On a sidenote don't forget to enter my Let's celebrate summer Giveaway for a chance to win some really cute jewellery, it's open until August 15 ^___^

Ozotic Pro mini haul and swatches
Hello everyone ^_^/
Today I want to share with you a very special nail polish brand from Australia, Ozotic Pro.
Ever since my dear 'Chelle sent me my first Ozotic Pro nail polish I fell in love with this brand.
Recently I found out it could be pruchased internationally via Picture Polish so I decided it was time for a mini haul. After careful consideration I decided on Galaxy, Elytra 528, Eclipse and Reef (as seen from left to right).
The ladies at Picture Polish were very helpful and within two weeks these lovelies were sitting on my workbench ^_^
No photo can really capture the beauty of these nail polishes but I tried my best.
I did a few swatches on a nail wheel under direct sunlight.
Galaxy, which is a black holo, is two coats, while the other colours are layered over a coat of Galaxy. No topcoat was used. The colours from left to right are as mentioned above.
What do you think? Do you own any Ozotic pro nail polishes?
Even though they are a bit pricey I think they are well worth it. In my next post I will show you my first mani with one of these beauties ^_^

I'm back and this is my Easter manicure!
Hello everyone ^_^/
How was your Easter weekend?
I am back from my vacation in beautiful Vienna where I had a fantastic time.
I am not exaggerating when I say it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
But first things first, let me share with you my Easter manicure.
Now it had no obvious Easter elements like bunnies or eggs but I still somehow feel it fit the Easter theme.
It was so shiny that my camera had trouble capturing it at first.
Here is what I used.
Catherine Arley holographic polish #666
Deborah Lippmann Bad Romance
BarryM Instant Nail Effects in Black Magic
Art Deco nail striper in black with silver glitter
NfuOh Aqua Base
Seche Vite top coat
The mani managed to make it through travelling and carrying suitcases around just fine which is always a plus.
Also as my friend Ria kept pestering me I decided to join bloglovin'.
So Follow my blog with bloglovin if you want ^_^
And I will close this post with a couple of photos from Schönbrunn Palace
In the first one you can see Vienna in the back with St.Stephen's Cathedral and the second one is a panoramic shot of the Palace and the gardens. Each photo is clickable if you want a bigger view.
Do you like these photos of the palace? I always take a lot of photos when I travel and I have a huge collection. Would you be interested in seeing some of them in this blog from time to time?
Let me know ^_^

NfuOh #64 does it get more holo than this?
Hello everyone ^_^/
how are you all enjoying your Friday?
Today I have a fantastic holo to share.
It's the infamous NfuOh 64 and it is one of the most spectacular holographic polishes I have ever seen.
Two coats over NfuOh Aqua Base (which does wonders for the application of holographic nail polishes).
You know that generally I love holographic nail polishes and this is definitely one of my favourites.
It looks fantastic under any lighting and changes so many colours that my nails look like rainbows while wearing it.
It has been an absolute hit as a ring too ^_^
Also let me remind you of my giveaway, that is ending in a few hours. So now is your last chance to enter!

Red holographic manicure
Hello everyone ^_^/
Lately I've been looking for the perfect red holographic nail polish. I cannot say I am a big fan of red but for some reason a red holographic polish seemed very appealing. After browsing around a bit I decided to get Prize by Nubar. Here is my current mani using exactly that nail polish.
To make the manicure more interesting I used TiNS the Mars on my ring finger. It is a dark red glittery colour. Although this mani is quite simple, I ended up liking it a lot. I used two coats of each colour and a coat of Sehce on top.
Prize is an awesome holographic red and it looks stunning in the sunlight. Here is a pic I took with my iPhone.
Do you like red holographic colours? Which one would you recommend?

a-england, a new nail polish brand
Hello everyone ^_^
how are you all today? I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Today I have something new to share with you all.
A new nail polish brand named a-england.
A few days ago I got an email informing me of this new brand so of course I had to check it out immediately.
Taking a look at their website I was impressed by their collection, called the Mythicals. I loved everything about it, from the colour selection to the names, so since I had some money from Christmas, I decided to place an order and check them out.
I had a really hard time deciding on the colours but in the end I decided to go for the two holographic colours (you must know by now how much I love holo polishes) Lady of the Lake and Tristam and also for Camelot a luscious black colour and Morgan Le Fay, a sheer glittery silver which looked perfect for layering.
A week after placing my order, my new polishes arrived neatly packaged.
I have to say that even though the pricing is a bit steep at £9.50 I am very impressed by the quality of these nail polishes. So here are some swatches for you to judge on your own.
From left to right we have Lady of the Lake(purple holo), Tristam (dark blue holo), Camelot (black creme), one coat of Morgan Le Fay layered over 2 coats of Camelot and Morgan Le Fay (glittery silver). All swatches except the layered one are two coats.
Here are the polishes on my nails too, to give you a better idea. The swatches on my hands are one coat each without base or top coat except for the layering.
From top to bottom we have Lady of the Lake, Tristam, one coat of Morgan Le Fay over a coat of Camelot and Camelot.
As you can see all the polishes except Morgan Le Fay are quite opaque with one coat. The formula was also very easy to work with and the polishes dried quite fast as well.
All in all I would recommend you give a-england a try. I will certainly be looking forward to more from them.

Accidental holo or an Etude House mani
Hello everyone ^_^/
how are you all doing? It's late at night here but I am sneaking a quick post before going to bed to share my accidental holo mani, as I like to call it.
A couple of days ago while going through my stash trying to decide which nail polish to use next I spotted a batch of untried Etude House polishes. Being in the mood for something purple I picked PP007 and BR003 to use as an accent colour.
As I started painting my nails I realised that PP007 is actually a fabulous purple holo! The effect is not as intense as say the China Glaze OMG collection but it looks fabulous none the less. The formula was great for both colours and with two coats I had perfect coverage. A coat of Seche didn't diminish the holo effect but made my nails look even shinier. BR003 is a sparkly silvery gold, if that makes any sense. I am very pleased with both colours and absolutely loving this manicure ^_^
If you get a chance to get your hands on these polishes, go for it. They are amazing! I got mine through ebay, just search for Etude House nail polish or Korean nail polish.
I have tags and awards and many more things to post and comments to leave, but all that will have to wait until the weekend when I have more time. Until then I hope you enjoyed this lovely mani! Have a lovely day/night all of you <3
