Today I am so excited to share 10 of the most affordable and helpful supplements that I used to take (and some I still take) for helping to heal my adrenal glands in hopes that it may help other Lymies who are fighting for their health and looking for the most affordable products. I first shared this post in 2020 and have since updated it as I continue to learn more and more!
As most Lymies know, dealing with fatigue is a serious symptom that most of us deal with on a daily basis. The adrenal glands play a huge part in the healing journey of any patient and the stress that happens to their body. There is a debate in Lyme world about which came first (the Lyme destabilizing the adrenal glands or the adrenal glands being under stress and weakened so that the immune system could not fight Lyme Disease - (source)), but either way this is a part of the journey. It is also a significant thing to consider, especially for those who are not seeing healing results in ways that they had hoped or wanted.
“Dr. Gerald Poesnecker, a naturopathic physician who specialized in adrenal fatigue and who treated patients with this condition for many, many years, believed that if a person’s adrenal fatigue were severe enough, then the body wouldn’t mount an immune response to any treatments that were given it...he writes, ‘the bodies of patients with a low adrenal adaptive ability have lost much of their ability to create the needed reaction to produce a cure. On the contrary, when the body is not able to use the energy of these therapies constructively, they actually tend to produce a worsening of the underlying condition because, to the body, they become a stress and not a cure…” (source)
With this concept and many other doctors mentioning how important it is to heal the adrenals alongside healing Lyme comes a tricky concept that many people have tried to master throughout there journeys. It is a tricky endeavor, mostly because like everything with Lyme each patient is different.
As a quick background, my adrenal glands tested into the adrenal failure range at one point in this journey (a common issue for many Lyme patients) and needed medical intervention. At the same time my medical team helped me to nutritionally (through my diet) and supplementally (through a variety of supplements listed below and others that are not listed) support and start the SLOW and LONG process of healing them. As I mentioned above many of these products I continue to use as I continue to repair this area of my body from the fight from Lyme. It is a long road to repair the adrenals and it is something that needs to be considered as such. Don't be discouraged if you don't see results right away. They will come!
Due to my specific issues with Lyme there are many times that a variety of different companies have the same product but I have to use a quality rich supplement from a specific company due to manufacturing. I hope that these help! Here in no particular order are 10 of my tops supplements that I used to use or still use everyday:
1. HAD Adrenal Drops
"HAD Adrenal Drops is a unique homeopathic organotherapy preparation synergistically formulated to restore and support normal adrenal and endocrine functions. Insufficient adrenal function can result in deficient muscular metabolism, lowered resistance to infections, and reproductive and endocrine dysfunctions. HAD Adrenal Drops is indicated for symptoms associated with adrenal disorders, including stress, fatigue, insomnia and adrenal atrophy; and for allergies, hypoglycemia, chronic infections, inflammation and mineralization disorders."
I listed this one first because this is a product that I have used and continue to use and have felt the most difference with. For those who are extremely sensitive to new products (like I was for a very long time) my doctor started me putting a drop on my skin every day and we worked up to the recommended drops before starting this internally.
Many doctors offices carry this product or you can find it on the Internet. It sometimes is available on Amazon but currently it is out of stock so I have found it the cheapest at on Pure Formulas website for $20.30 HERE.
Vitamin B5, or commonly known as Pantothenic Acid is a an important part of healing your adrenal glands as it helps to produce co-enzyme A. Co-enzyme A contributes to cellular respiration and also helps in the breakdown of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.
Over the years I have tried a variety of different Pantothenic Acid brands but consistently return to NOW's formula for the quality and also the price. You can find it for less than $13 on Amazon by clicking HERE.
Vitamin B6, is a an important part of restoring your adrenal glands as helps the functions of several pathways that are used to create adrenal hormones.
Over the years I have tried a variety of different Vitamin B6 brands but consistently return to NOW's formula for the quality and also the price. You can find it for less than $7 (for a months supply!!) on Amazon by clicking HERE.
Vitamin D plays an important part in healing your adrenal glands. This is a more "newer" concept but there are so many studies that are being done that show the link between low vitamin d levels and fatigue and adrenal issues. This Biotech product, of D3-50 is one of my favorite formulas that I have found to be very beneficial. You can find it on Amazon HERE.
Lots of times we think of Vitamin C as being a powerful and important antioxidant but it also helps the adrenal glands! Vitamin C is directly involved in the production of cortisol in your adrenal glands and is an essential building block in restoring and healing your adrenal glands.
I have tried a variety of Vitamin C products over the years, but this is the one from Solaray that has best fit my needs. You can find it for less than $15 on Amazon by clicking HERE.
A word of encouragement for those who struggle with taking Vitamin C orally as I know some Lyme patients do. Consult a qualified physician for this. Despite doing high-dose Vitamin C therapy as part of my healing process from Lyme and continue to receive Vitamin C in my weekly Myers Cocktail IVs, I for a LONG LONG time couldn't take vitamin c orally. It was just one of those weird and strange things with Lyme and the way that Mast Cell had affected my body. I heard this from tons of Lymies - so if you think you are alone- you are not. It took me a while, but with the help of my medical team, I have started (under a doctors care!) to add this back in orally and this is the product that I have found the most helpful. It is a non-acidic formula which is helpful as my gut continues to heal. As I mentioned above, you can find it for less than $15 on Amazon by clicking HERE.
6. Magnesium
Similar to #5, with Vitamin C, magnesium is not a supplement that we often consider important in the role of adrenal glands, but it is! Studies have shown that more than 75% of people are deficient in magnesium which is a HUGE issue for those struggling with adrenal fatigue and failure. Sadly, a lack of appropriate magnesium levels can result in fatigue symptoms. There are all different types of magnesium forms so you will want to consult with a doctor and research what is best for your specific case. Listed below are a few of the magnesium products that I have found to be the most helpful:
Boiron Homeopathic Medicine Magnesia Phosphorica
I started using this supplement this past summer and after several months I was amazed at how much it has helped my gut. For those that struggle with IBS, abdominal cramps, stomach cramps, etc. that is helped by placing a heating pad on the area this is a great little supplement to have.
For those who are extremely sensitive patients like myself, homeopathic options are a great way to go sometimes and this is a key example. For this I definitely recommend giving it several months before you expect to see a major difference. I noticed some result and help from it quickly but after several months I noticed huge results.
You can purchase Boiron Homeopathic Medicine Magnesia Phosphorica lots of places (including your local health store) but I found it for a couple of dollars cheaper on Amazon HERE. After trying it for 6 months and seeing the beneficial difference of continuously taking it daily I found it was cheapest to purchase a pack of 5 which can be found HERE.

This is one of my favorite products, although as a disclaimer, it is also one of the more expensive supplements that I use. But it is fantastic and I find it the cheapest on Amazon. You can find it HERE.
Magnesium Oil (Magnesium Chloride)
This magnesium oil is probably been one of my most favorite products in my journey with regaining my health. I have used it for pain, but also daily use it for the benefits of adrenal rebuilding. My favorite brand is definitely this Swanson brand - it is wonderful and a bottle will last me for almost 6 months! You can find it on amazon HERE.
Magnesium Malate is a product that was recommended to me by my acupuncturist about two years ago. Unfortunately with the introduction of new treatment rounds, meds, supplements, etc. I haven't been able to try it but it is next up in the rounds for this summer. I am really excited about this product as I have been reading a ton and discussing with medical professionals the benefits of the malate form of magnesium specifically. Interestingly, "Dr.Jay Goldstein, U.S. director of the CFS Institute, has endorsed the use of malic acid as a "valid therapeutic approach" for patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome".
One of the things that I have read is that it takes at least two months to notice any difference with this magnesium so I am excited to share my findings at the end of the summer! The integrative therapeutics brand is the one that a few family members and friends have used and was recommended to me and is what I have purchased to use. You can find it HERE on Amazon.
7. Licorice
Licorice is a key component for Lyme Disease patients for a number of different things, including a helpful supplement for the gut, but Licorice also has additional health benefits beyond the gut as it is beneficial for the liver, helps to lower cholesterol levels, helps lessen the pain and fatigue of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, and can even help with PMS symptoms. One significant thing that licorice does is that it helps your cortisol circulate for longer!
With all of these benefits, Licorice was a top contender and supplement for me and yet it took a long time for me to find the right company. Unfortunately lots of licorice supplements have added ingredients, which may work for some people, but for a patient like me who is extremely fragile, I needed a supplement that was purely Licorice. After researching I found the Nature's Plus version and it has been a perfect fit for me.
For all that Licorice does, this is one of the more affordable supplements that I used to take. At this current moment I am not taking it anymore but plan to add it back in to the regime in the future. I love when a supplement is helpful and healing for my gut, but also helps my body in other areas! On Amazon it retails for under $11. You can find it on Amazon by clicking HERE.

CoQ10 is important to the overall function of our body as it is used to produce energy for growing and maintaining our cells. Studies have shows that it can also help to increase endurance. My favorite brand of CoQ10 is the one by Researched Nutritionals above. Unfortunately you will have to have a doctors code to order this and give you a code but I would definitely recommend exploring this as this supplement is phenomenal. Beyond helping with energy, I attribute the fact that I don't suffer as much from pain as other people do from Fibro or Lyme issues to this supplement alone. It took a while to see a difference but it is a "must have" for me. You can find it HERE.
If you can't get a doctors code or help with Researched Nutritionals, than this CoQ10 on Amazon is what I would recommend as the back up plan.
This supplement is used for a variety of different things but it does help to move the fatty acids into the mitochondria where we need them to help produce energy. It is also helpful for boosting metabolism and increasing energy levels.
You can find it on Amazon by clicking HERE.
10. Omega 3's
Many people are deficient in omega-3 fatty acids and this can lead to increased inflammation, which requires an increase in cortisol production to manage. (It definitely is a circle that is completely connected!) Taking a quality omega 3 supplement can help to reduce the inflammation that is throughout your body and in turn help to relieve the taxation on your adrenals.
There are so many different brands and kinds of Omega 3 products, but my favorite and the one that I use is the ultimate omega by Nordic Naturals. I would definitely consult with a physician about what kind would be the most helpful for your particular case, and Nordic Naturals offers a variety of different products. You can find the product above (and other Nordic Naturals products) on Amazon by clicking HERE.
Some Additional Helpful Information:
This book, Adrenal Fatigue, by James Wilson, is one of the best resources that I would definitely recommend. Even if you are not dealing with Lyme it is a fantastic resource and one that I have in my library and have referred back to many times. You can find it on Amazon HERE.
There have been studies done over the years that show the importance and the benefits to the adrenal glands with using Himalayan salt. The above brand is the one that I have been using for years. You can find it on Amazon by clicking HERE.
I hope that this product list is helpful for those of you struggling with Lyme Disease or those who are interested in healing your adrenal glands! Let me know if you have any questions!

I am honored to share and answer questions over on Instagram and on social media. My hope and prayer is that this may help some of you in the journey.
If you have any questions about treatment, experiences, etc... please leave your questions and I will try to answer as many as possible.

For many people the holiday season can be one that is a painful and difficult time of the year. As I have shared in my book, "When Light Dawns", the holiday season can be particularly difficult for Lyme Disease patients. Physically, emotionally, financially, you name it- it seems like the holidays has the potential to heighten every emotion that comes with fighting this disease. I have received numerous emails asking what appropriate gifts for a Lyme Disease patient would be so today I wanted to share 35 Christmas present ideas for those loved ones in your life that may be fighting Lyme Disease. I hope that this helps you!
1. Be Present.
I have said this before, but the best gift that you can give is yourself. Yes, the holiday seasons are busy for you with lots of parties, events, and gatherings but most likely your loved one who is fighting Lyme Disease is not able to attend all or any of these types of events. Many times they feel loneliness more than ever at the holiday season as they spend more time alone during these weeks then others as people are off having lots of fun. The best gift you can give is to schedule in a phone call, stop over for a visit, or skype with your friend during your busy and their lonely holiday season - what a beautiful gift this would be!
2. Offer monetary help if possible.

2. Offer monetary help if possible.
Even with insurance those with Lyme Disease patients spend thousands and thousands of dollars each year trying to get healthy. Many people with Lyme Disease, like myself, have already gone through all available resources. Many families, like mine, with a Lyme Disease patient are not planning on exchanging Christmas gifts. I have been the recipient of monetary help and each time it is a humbling and most needed gift. These types of gifts do not have to be large either. Someone gave me a five dollar gift card to Target that helped purchase necessities. Such a blessing! Gift cards to Target are priceless! This can help purchase medications, groceries, clothes, and the list goes on! Truly gift cards are wonderful if that is an option for you to give!
3. Purchase their favorite bath items.
Many Lyme Disease patients use special bath products (including shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, perfume, deodorant, etc.) that are free from certain dyes, chemicals, or ingredients. Yes, these items are more expensive but are necessary. What a lovely gift this would be for someone! Don't know what they use? Ask them or a family member!

4. Pay their Cell Phone Bill for a month.
Most of us with Lyme Disease desperately need our cell phones and that yucky bill each month takes out a huge amount of money. Consider paying their cell phone bill for a month! I have a Lymie friend who shared that a group of her former co-workers went down to her cell phone provider and paid her cell phone bill for the year. What an AMAZING gift!

5. Purchase a gift certificate to a special salon.
You know how you spend a lot of money on having your hair cut, nails done, etc. for the holiday season? Your loved one who is suffering from Lyme Disease would love that to but would never dream of spending the money on something like that anymore. I can speak from personal experience that the changes that occur with an illness in regards to personal appearance can be difficult. Different medications can cause weight changes, hair loss, skin break outs, and generally make you feel like you look "awful". I personally would love to have a hair cut, eye brows waxed, nails done, etc. but there is NO money for this type of thing. (To be completely personal I have had my hair cut twice in the last three years.) You get the point friends. If this is something you can give to a friend- it would be an incredibly blessing.

6. Listen without offering advice (unless asked).
When you offer unsolicited advice, it can come across as a lecture- even if that is not your intent. Someone once said: "Assume that we have heard all of the tips on Lyme Disease and leave it at that." I couldn't have said it any better.

7. Provide a special basket for a "night in".
Why not gather a few items together to give to those who can't go out? Perhaps a snack, movie, etc. could provide a lovely gift!
8. Soft, Snugly, and Comfy blankets.
I love feeling comfy- especially on days where the pain is intense and I feel so miserable. I love the gift of soft blankets, comfy sheets, and sweet throws. A couple of years ago I was the recipient of a beautiful prayer quilt. Every time that I look at it and use it I am reminded that there are SO many people praying for me.

9. Give a coupon book/ card that lists out something that you (and your family) will do once a month, once a week, etc. for a year.
Need suggestions? Here are just a few things that immediately come to mind:
Need suggestions? Here are just a few things that immediately come to mind:
(a) Help with housework.
(b) Help with yard work.
(c) Drive your friend to a doctors appointment or treatment (and offer to stay with them). I heard of a friend whose best friend drives her to every single doctors appointment in one area of her physical needs. That allows her spouse and other family members to have a "day off" of one doctor.
(d) Drive their children to school one day a week.
(e) Bring a meal twice a month.
(f) Pick up groceries once a week.
(g) Offer to go to Target, Walmart, etc. once a week or twice a month for them.
I could go on and on but y'all are creative!
10. Buy nice pajamas.
Those with Lyme Disease spend a lot of time in bed, at home, or in the hospital and nice pajamas are always a lovely gift.
11. Magazine subscriptions are a lovely gift!

11. Magazine subscriptions are a lovely gift!
Magazines are great because they come in the mail (and we all LOVE getting happy mail) and are light and fun to read!
12. Purchase a netflix/hulu/pureflix account for a year.
13. Buy a "prime" membership on amazon.

You can provide your friend with countless free TV shows, movies, and even books to read! And guess what? If they purchase supplements or products on amazon they will be eligible on FREE 2-day shipping! Someone gave me this gift a couple of years ago and it is truly priceless!
14. Create a relaxing atmosphere.
14. Create a relaxing atmosphere.
Purchase music, i-tunes gift cards, etc. so that your friend can listen to relaxing & encouraging music. (Disclaimer: #12-14 can be very difficult for some Lymies who struggle with sound so be extremely sensitive before purchasing these items!)
15. Gas Gift Cards.
I can't even begin to express how much money I spent in gas money each week driving to all of my local doctors appointments and this doesn't even begin to account for the ones that are not local. Gas gift cards are a wonderful gift.
16. Mind the car.
Along with #15 - a car gets lots of use. Take the car for a "spa day" and get the oil changed, washed, filled up with gas, and tuned up. This would be an AMAZING gift! Better yet, have someone do an entire tune up!
17. Ask them what the best books are on Lyme Disease and then read them.

17. Ask them what the best books are on Lyme Disease and then read them.
Tell them that you have spent the time doing this and believe me this is PRICELESS. You will be able to have an intelligent and compassionate conversation from that moment forward since you will be knowledgeable about their illness, especially from the perspective of the books that they have recommended. (Side Note: Read what they suggest not what wikipedia says...)
18. Introduce a hobby or supplement their existing hobby.
Does your friend do a hobby that helps them pass the time or that they enjoy? Perhaps your friend has opened an online shop to help cover the cost of treatment? Purchase items that they have been wanting or give them a gift card to their favorite specialty craft store. Do they not have a hobby but have been talking about starting one? Buy the intro book, the intro supplies, and give them the gift of creativity!

19. Give the gift or reading.
Is there something that your friend loves to read? Buy them the books they have been wanting but can't afford. Does your friend struggle with Neuro Lyme and can't read anymore? Give them books on tape! Don't know what to give them? Purchase a gift card to a bookstore or a kindle gift card. Maybe even purchase a kindle...
20. Research and Purchase a Gadget that can help them as they fight Lyme Disease.
You have heard me say this before but money is tight and lots of times gadgets are not purchased that could help make the journey easier. Don't know what is needed? Ask them or their family members!
21. Pay for an upcoming Doctors Appointment.
One of the things that many people don't understand is that despite having insurance your Lymie friend most likely has to pay for their doctors appointments out of pocket. This means that instead of just having a co-pay your friend is responsible for the entire doctors visit at the time of the appointment. Prices vary but patients can bay anywhere between $375 to $1800 per appointment. Consider paying for a doctors appointment (or partial appointment) by calling the doctors office and seeing how you can put money on their account. Believe me- this would be a priceless gift.

While not everyone is a writer, some of us go through journalsyearly monthly weekly. *smiles* OOh... and pretty pens... hahaha that last one is just for me!

23. Purchase supplements, oils, IV treatments, etc.
Is your friend using alternative supplements? Most people with Lyme Disease use alternative treatments and these can be an expensive but necessary "addition" to their regime. Consider giving a gift card to their reflexologist, acupuncturist, massage therapist, chiropractor, etc. These are often expensive and this would be a wonderful gift. (Disclaimer: only purchase what your friend is currently using. This is not the time to give advice on what you believe would be the cure!)

24. Purchase items from their business.
Many Lymies have had to leave the job they love and have tried to find a way to make money in a new capacity. Support their endeavor. Do they have an etsy shop? Purchase gifts from that shop and spread the news about their shop via social media. Do they make things and sell them on the side? Have they written books? Help spread the word! One friend that I have who has Epilepsy had to quit her job teaching but is the most AMAZING baker and creates gorgeous and delicious pies. Another friend of ours went around to local churches who were holding Thanksgiving dinners this year and set up a business deal for her where the churches purchased the pies and she was able to gain enough income for a couple of months. This was an amazing idea our friend had but my friend with Epilepsy didn't have the energy to even think about it! This was an incredible blessing and guess what? She has "expanded" outside of our city and next year has double the orders from other churches and businesses!! Think outside the box for your friend, support their work - whether it is through purchasing something yourself or just simply spreading the word!

25. Give them the gift of becoming an advocate of their disease.
I suggested asking your loved one what books that they would recommend to read about Lyme Disease but why not also because an advocate? Isn't it wonderful that there are so many walks and "government supported" funding for certain illnesses? That came about in part because of friends and family rallied to bring awareness. What about Lyme Disease? Do you know how what it really is? (If you don't you can read this post, "What is Lyme Disease" by clicking HERE!) Do you know how it is affecting your friend specifically? Do you know what is happening in Congress or at the state level in regards to it? Become an advocate for your loved one and for the thousands of others that might not have loved ones who care.

26. Bath Spa- Hot tub.
Yes, hot tubs are expensive but Amazon sells the Conair Thermal Bath Spa Mat for a very reasonable price. This would be such a lovely gift! Along with this idea: special heating pads, massage heating pads, etc.

27. Winter items.
Do y'all live in an area where winter rears its ugly head? Consider purchasing a can of spray defroster so that they do not have to scrape their car! (And maybe gloves, warm scarves, etc.!)

28. Purchase (or create) holiday cards to send out (and give them a book of stamps).
I used to love sending Christmas Cards out (and still do) but the reality is that it is very expensive to purchase cards and stamps. The past couple of years I have only sent a few cards out due to the cost. I would have loved to send more and many people with Lyme Disease really want to, but with the cost of shipping it is impossible. Consider blessing your friend in this way. (Concerned that the extra stamps will go to waste? Don't be. Lots of medical bills still have to be sent out the old fashioned way - your friend will use those stamps one way or another!)
29. Help your friend address Christmas Card Envelopes.
Sometimes the energy to address the cards can be an issue. Offer to address the cards (and mail them!) for your friend! (Does your friend need to send out presents in the mail? Offer to do this for them! Waiting in line at the post office can be physically exhausting!)

30. Write them a Letter.
The amount of emotions that encompass a day of living with Lyme Disease is absolutely staggering. There are hundreds of different side effects that your Lymie friend is dealing with and the road to healing is not a straight line. Your friend may be happy in the morning and one hour later is in tears because something didn't go right with the insurance company or the pharmacy. A beautiful gift in the middle of all of the chaos is a letter from a friend, cheering them on, expressing support and love and hope. This would be a beautiful gift that your friend would read many times over. Another idea? I was just the recipient of an envelope stuffed with letters from people that I don't know from a dear friends church. These people had spent time praying for me and then all wrote me letters. I have cried over them, re-read them hundreds of times already, and have been reminded that I am not alone. Words are powerful and can be the best gift of all.
31. Homemade Inspirational Artwork.
Create artwork that can be displayed- especially for those who are bedridden.
32. Create a Retreat.
Do you have a Lymie coming to visit for the holidays? Consider setting them up somewhere that they can retreat to rest and relax when they are feeling sick. A sweet friend of mine shared a precious story from a Christmas a couple of years ago. She was dreading a trip to her sister and brother-in-laws home simply because she knew that there would be 30 (!!) people that would all be staying in the home and it would offer little quiet time which she desperately needed at that stage of her treatment. She was very concerned about this and was considering not going on the trip when a beautiful present arrived in the mail. Her sister and brother-in-law had reserved a room at an exclusive retreat center in the same town. This allowed her the freedom to be apart of the holidays but also the necessary space to retreat and rest. As she says "it was the best Christmas present ever"! What a beautiful gift. Maybe you can't afford to do that but why not set up a special room in your home for your loved one where they can retreat as needed? This will give them an incredible blessing amidst the "hustle and bustle".
33. Give a gift card for "unmentionables".
If your friend hasn't had the money (or the energy) to buy new clothes in a while consider giving them a gift card to purchase the necessities that they probably need.
34. Purchase Pet Items.
Does your friend have a pet? Consider purchasing a gift card to their vet, paying for a pet "check up" (or grooming), or giving them a gift basket of necessary food and litter, treats, or toys.
35. Remember the caregiver(s).
I have often said this but me being ill is often harder on my family then myself. To see people that are constantly hurting and suffering and not be able to do anything about it is excruciating. Reach out to the caregivers and you will touch the heart of the person who is ill too.
As I have said countless times here on the blog, realize that your friend or family member with Lyme Disease is the best gift this season. Their illness is forcing them to set limitations but the gift to you is remembering what is truly important in the holiday season. Celebrate people. Not things or activities. At the end of the day people are the most important thing not whether or not you were able to buy every single gift in the world, decorate your house the best, or have the cutest pinterest worthy decorations. People are what matter friends and Lyme Disease may be the best gift in helping us all remember that this holiday season!

(6) 12 Things to Do
At the beginning of this Lyme Disease Awareness Month (May), I had a secret dream and prayer request to get my book, Praying Through Lyme Disease into the hands of over a thousand Lyme patients who had contacted me over the last year desiring a copy but due to treatment costs couldn't afford one.
I was excited to reduce the cost of all of my Lyme books for the month and was still hoping and dreaming behind the scenes that my secret dream would come to fruition. When I shared here on the blog and other social media sites the option of purchasing a copy anonymously for someone, I was overwhelmed. To me the number that was needed seemed insurmountable to me. But over the course of the month message after message poured in and people's generosity to help strangers has blown me away.
Two days ago (at the end of May) the number had dwindled to 15 people being left and I was speechless! Then a sweet friend surprised me with wanting to purchase a couple of books. I explained that would be wonderful and then she said that she wanted to purchase 15 (as you can see in the picture above)!!! I was completely BLOWN AWAY by the exactness of this insurmountable number being met that I had tears.
People often say that Lyme Disease is not recognized but I see something different...I see strangers caring about strangers and people trying to help the overwhelming suffering that this disease causes. Thank you to each of you who lovingly supported so many people this month and your extreme generosity in giving in this way.
Praying Through Lyme Disease Special Sale (LESS than a DOLLAR!!) for Lyme Disease Awareness Month!
May 7, 2018
Happy Monday friends! I hope that y'all had a wonderful weekend! This weekend seemed to fly by as we are preparing to move down to the cabin for the summer, hatted with friends living far away, worked on orders for the shop, and spent with good friends and attending a Lyme Disease Support group! It was a lovely weekend- and I hope that y'all had a good weekend too!
Another thing that I worked on this weekend was packaging up some special bulk orders of Praying through Lyme Disease which are going to different countries! It is always humbling when this happens. Any order of any of my books is humbling and I am so grateful for your continued support of my writing.
I have been truly overwhelmed by the response since the 2nd edition of Praying through Lyme Disease released last year. I have no words, just extreme gratitude.
Two things that I am doing is: (1) working to get Praying through Lyme Disease into libraries across the country (and around the world too) so as many people can have access to it without having to pay for it. Do you know a local library or have a connection to a local or church library that may be interested in me donating a copy of Praying through Lyme Disease to them? Would you please send me an email or leave a comment? I would love to connect with you and them!
and (2) I would love to donate a copy of my book to any doctors office (Lyme or not) that may be interested in a copy. If you have any leads for this would you please let me know?
One of the things that I wanted to do to recognize and honor May being Lyme Disease awareness month is making the book the cheapest that it can be so that anyone can have access to it! So for the rest of may the Kindle version of Praying through Lyme Disease (including the large print version) is only $.99!!! You can purchase the kindle version HERE and the Large Print Kindle Version HERE!
I have one request for this month- if you have read Praying through Lyme Disease- would you consider leaving a review for others to know more about this book? It doesn't have to be long, but ANY reviews that help potential future readers learn more about this book would be such an incredible blessing! Thank you! (You can leave a review HERE!)
If are not a Lyme patient, but know a Lymie this would be a great gift to give them! If you don't know a Lymie and would still like to help I have a list of Lyme patients who want to purchase this book but due to treatment costs can't afford to do so. If you would like to bless them anonymously please contact me or leave a comment and I will message instructions!! And finally: a portion of all proceeds of all of my Lyme book sales from this month will be donated to @globallymealliance ! Thank you for your support of not only my books but of Lyme patients around the world!
Again- for less than a dollar, you can purchase the kindle version HERE and the Large Print Kindle Version HERE!
Thank you again friends! I hope that you have a lovely Monday!
PS- Watch for some special sales of my other Lyme books coming up as the month goes on!
