deal of the day

I'll be back next week sharing the rest of the Spring Lane home,
but today I wanted to share one of my favorite recent discoveries.
This awesome Tristan pedestal table from World Market is only $79.99 (it reminds me a lot of this more expensive one) and a great size for an accent table yet still enough surface area to actually use it for display. I'm buying one of these for my soon to be remodeled basement.

If you follow me on pinterest then you'll often see me picking things out for specific projects. I've just started a new pinboard titled bargains where I'll be filing away all the good deals I want to remember. So if you want to be in the loop, become a follower.

P.S. Are you as obsessed with Pinterest as I am?

Overjoyed with overstock

I think every single one of my clients (and most of you) know how much I love Overstock. We'll of course, I'm not the only one.

Jamie of i suwannee (one of my favorites) invited myself, and some other fabulous bloggers to list our top 10 favorite items on overstock.com

You won't want to miss this wonderful collection of bargain home goods. Head on over to i suwannee to check it out.

Happy Shopping. I hope there is a good deal in your future.

looks like Lulu.

I was running errands yesterday and drove past a store that I usually don't think twice about, Burlington Coat Factory. I thought I might give it a try and see if they had good deals on anything interesting (this is how you become an expert bargain shopper) and so I pulled over and headed in. At first I found just what I expected to find. Lots of tacky rustic things and polyester bedding.

I was unimpressed until I hit the pillow aisle. Jackpot. Lovely patterns, good colors, lots of options, amazing prices. I was happy and my clients will be too. I got lots of odd looks checking out with 15 pillows but I loved each and every one.

Here is a sampling of what came home in my car.

These lovely pillows are a dead ringer for Lulu DK in Chant. On sale for $4.99! I bought 5. The best part is they are reversible.

Some nubby blue wool numbers that are from the Jonathan Adler Happy Home Collection. $9.99.

More Jonathan Adler pillows. These went straight to a client who was very excited. $9.99

And a little Greek key action. These came in Brown and Navy. I'm thinking they need a little monogram or something in the middle.

All I'm saying is maybe Burlington Coat Factory is more than great coats.

I failed to mention

I love just about every single item that Pieces has to offer.
I browse their site frequently and I was floored when I saw this lamp listed on their site because I bought it's twin at a garage sale earlier in the summer for $3. When I saw the sticker price on this lamp was $1750, you can bet I was pretty happy.

Not to brag, but I am so good at getting deals.
