Cricut

The fact that I don't post enough cards that feature the Cricut is by not an indication of how much I appreciate the machine. I actually adore it, but I am usually very busy doing cards for classes and demos that I don't usually have the time or space on my table to get the Cricut out -I use mostly the Expressions. But when I do, I have such fun time.

One of the little details I like is to cut three times the same element and then space it using foam pads. That will give a different effect, more like a decoupage sticker.

The cartridge I used is Going Places.

Concertina Pop Up Mini Album

Since you all seem to like very much the Concertina Pop Up card, I would like to share this mini album I did for the last Stitches

It is very similar to this other one I did a few years back using snowflakes. The interior pages are quite plain and simple as the main decorative details are the flowers, all cut with the Cricut using the Accents Essentials cartridge.

There is no journaling because this mini album was on display at Stitches, so i did not want to write something that everyone could read. But also, I did think of giving this a s present for the parents of this two kids so they could write their own thoughts.

For the patterned papers I used Kioshi, one of the latest Basic Grey collections, and for the main cardstock I use CoreDinations.
