Happy Friday Eve Creative Peeps! I hope all who celebrated and/or were celebrated had a wonderful Mother's Day! We took my Mom out to dinner the night before, and I had a wonderfully lazy day that started with a call from our son, included a great trip to Michaels, and a delicious chocolate cake to wrap up the day!

This week and next, I get to do some fun medical stuff, so I didn't get around to making anything this week. Lots of great ideas from all of you at last week's party, though! Let's take a look at a few.

The Apple Street Cottage shared how to make these beautiful Lavender Soaps. Great for personal use or to give as gifts.

Another fabulous idea is this Spa in a Jar shared by Hunny I'm Home DIY. How fun would these be for year-end teachers' gifts, bridal showers, or girls' nights? Heck, make several for yourself and pull one out on "one of those days!"

In a world that often feels hurried and noisy, there is something deeply comforting about pausing for a few moments of rest—savoring a flavorful cup of tea in a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful and meaningful things.--Thrifting Wonderland

Thrifting Wonderland shared a beautiful post about remembering to be present in the moment and incorporating beauty into our everyday lives. Built around a beautiful Thrifted Tray, she created a peaceful vignette, perfect to take a moment and be still. I think we need more of that!

Finally, if you're familiar with the Potterverse, you're familiar with "The Big Book of Monsters" which was introduced in the third book/movie. And now, as a cake! From Press Print Party. And you need to scroll through the post to see the whole party. WOW!

Thanks to everyone who linked up, and can't wait to see what you've been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve again, everyone and hope you've had a creative week. Allergies continue but meds are helping. Been busy this week with some follow-up appointments following my little hospital adventure last month, but I was able to spend time working on Mother's Day cards, which I'll share soon!

I also popped into Michaels to see the new Johnathan Adler collaboration! WOW! So many very cool pieces, including a selection of unfinished products you can put your own stamp on. Win-Win! You get the signature Adler design, then you can paint in your preferred color. Definitely worth a look.

OK, let's take a look at some great ideas from last week's party.

Steph Creates shared this Simple Yet Beautiful DIY Serving Tray. Can we ever have too many?

Got wallpaper scraps? Then you definitely want to check out this idea from Sonata Home Design and turn them into a Decorative Bowl

If you've wanted to play with Candle Making, Master Pieces of My Life has got you covered with these Sand Candle Wax candles. No melting required!

Finally, with end of the school year approaching, Hunny I'm Home DIY shared an easy and fun DIY Teacher's Gift featuring M&Ms, complete with a downloadable tag!

Can you believe it's the last day of April already?! Hopefully, if you've had lots of showers, May will bring lots of flowers. 💐

Given that this party ends on Monday, May 4th...

Happy Friday Eve, all, and Happy APRIL! Yikes. I spent too many years thinking in terms of business quarters, so being in "second quarter" already is...WOW. I hope everyone survived April Fool's Day, a thing I've never enjoyed, but I know some people do epic pranks. We had a guest for a few days, so I didn't get to play in my craft room, but we did get to visit the Tucson Botanical Garden, which is a really wonderful place. 5.5 acres in the middle of the city that have been turned into beautiful gardens, a fabulous butterfly garden, a replica of Frida Kahlo's Blue House, and art installations throughout. There's even a miniature train garden with replicas of historic train stations around the country. Worth a visit if you ever get to these parts!

Happy Passover to all observing, and I know others are busy getting ready for Easter, so let's take a look at some fun ideas you can still do or pin for next year.

Check out this gorgeous Mosaic Egg from Selep Imaging. The colors and patterns are really make it work!

Hunny I'm Home DIY shared these fun DIY Easter Bunny Juice Boxes, which would be fun to add to a drink table or Easter basket. Complete with a free template!

Check out this STUNNING Spring Charcuterie Board from Rose Bakes! So perfect for Spring entertaining.

Finally, wouldn't this colorful Jello Poke Cake shared by Flour on My Face be a great addition to any dessert table? So pretty and bright!

Thanks to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've got in store this week!

Happy Friday Eve, all. This week's been much better than last week at Casa Chocolate, thankfully! Hope it's been a good one for you. I can't believe that Easter is about a week away, and Passover starts April 1. Time just continues to speed up!

I managed to squeeze out one more Easter craft this week. Twine carrots!

And you all shared some fun Spring and Easter projects last week, so here are  just a few.

Nothing screams Spring like a bright shot of color, and Petticoat Junktion has exactly that with this bright yellow Chair Makeover

Studio27 by Jennifer Adams shared an idea I'd never have thought of: using Thrifted Greens outdoors! Yes, outdoor faux greenery mixed in among the real stuff.

Crazy Little Lovebirds shared yet another creative way to use Paint Sample Cards by turning them into bookmarks! Perfect to share with a book club, Mother's Day is coming, just because...

Finally, how stinkin' cute are these Bunny Butt Oreos! From Hunny I'm Home DIY.

Thanks to everyone who linked up. Enjoy your weekend!

Happy February! 🩷 How it's February already, I'm not sure, but it is. Mom continues her recovery journey and is doing well. I'm still tired and haven't had the energy to make much of anything, but I did get out to a couple of my favorite venues now that Bead and Gem Show season is here. Not that I actually NEEDED any more beads etc., but what's that got to do with anything? It's so much fun to get to see and meet people from all over the world because lemme tell you, it feels like every continent (maybe not Antarctica) is represented at these shows.

Here's what I picked up this year.

Some bold beads, bead caps, and findings that I can't wait to play with. Also, those large black and silver beads.

Pink Opal, Dendritic Agate, and Tourmaline.

Amethyst, Lapis, and Kunzite. I can't wait to play with all of these.

I've also been enjoying the sessions at the Cricut Craft Fest this week. I love these because I always pick up tips on ways to use my cutting machines.

You've all been busy as usual, so let's take a look at some fun ideas shared at last week's party.

Steph Creates Things shared this perfect for love season Altered Cutting Board

I think all of us Makers do this. See something at a boutique or store like Pottery Barn or West Elm and immediately start thinking "I can knock that off!". Such is the case with these Aluminum Can Vases by Petticoat Junktion inspired by West Elm! Nailed it!

An Artful Mom shared a brilliant idea: Make TWO Journals from One Composition Book

And finally, with the big game this weekend, can you have enough treats? These Chocolate Covered Nutter Butter Footballs from Hunny I'm Home DIY are just the thing!

Whether you're resting, crafting, watching the game, or whatever's in store this weekend, I wish you peace. Thanks to everyone who linked up!

Happy NOVEMBER and Happy Friday Eve, all! I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. It only gets crazier from here, right? With American Thanksgiving and the holiday season upon us, it's my favorite time of the year.

I don't know about you but I'm in combo meal mode, working on a few Fall projects while gearing up with Christmas projects. I just roll with it!

This week I shared:

Now let's take a look at some of the great ideas shared at last week's party!

I love the blank wood signs at Dollar Tree, and especially love what Creatively Beth did with this Harvest Dollar Tree Acorn Sign

Steph Creates shared a beautiful piece of Fall decor that would elevate any table with this Harvest Pumpkin Floral Centerpiece

Press Print Party shared a two-in-one great idea with these "Pumpkin" Place Card Holders. They double as a sweet treat for guests. Visit to see what's inside!

Finally, if you're looking for a fun dessert for Thanksgiving, look no further than Hunny I'm Home DIY and get the scoop on these Mini Bundt Cake Pumpkins

Thanks so much to everyone who linked up, and as always, can't wait to see what you've been up to this week!
