Gościnna Projektantka || Guest Designer Ania and quilling

Dziś z ogromną przyjemnością gościmy u nas Anię, zwyciężczynię naszego wyzwania z listopada :)

Przygotowała taki fantastyczny mediowy blejtram 

Today we are happy to host Ania, the winner of our November challenge. She has creates such a beautiful mixed media canvas :)

Z ogromną przyjemnością przyjęłam zaproszenie do gościnnego spotkania z miłośnikami Altair Art. Moją ulubioną, jak do tej pory, kolekcją papierów tej marki jest Ever Dream. Przygotowałam więc kwiatowy wianek na blejtramie 20 cm x 20 cm, którego tłem jest papier 05 z tej właśnie kolekcji. Papier docięłam i przykleiłam na gel medium, a następnie położyłam maskę. Kiedy już podeschła, psiknęłam i pochlapałam trochę tło mgiełkami. Dopiero na całkiem suchym tle ułożyłam wianek, który rozbieliłam gessem. Dodałam tekturkowe motylki – trochę je posmarowałam pastą strukturalną i pomgiełkowałam. Kropką nad i są chlapania białym splashem. Mam nadzieję, że taka wiosenna praca poprawi Wam humor.

I accepted the invitation to a guest appearance at AltairArt's  blog with a great pleasure. My favorite so far collection of this brand is Ever Dream. So I prepared a floral wreath on a 20 cm x 20 cm canvas whose background is paper 05  from this collection. I cut the paper and glued it onto the gel medium, then put the mask on. When it was dry, I sprayed the background with some mists. On a dry background  I put a wreath and whited it with some gesso. I added cardboard butterflies - I painted them with structural paste and with a pink spray mist. In the end I added some splashes with white acrylic paint. I hope you'll like my artwork :).

My first canvas

Soooo, thought I would try something a bit different for me this month and out came a canvas.  I have been wanting to try doing one of these for some time and I must say I was most unsure as to what to do.  I am a little bit funny when I design as I love everything I have to be a bit meaningful and yet I looooove the designers work who do loads of layering with huge amounts of elements.  I struggle with doing that as I don't like to be wasteful or covering up elements that I really like.

As my first canvas, I love it, but it is my first and I am quite sure that I would do many things differently on the next one, but for now, here it is.  The chipboard elements are from Dusty Attic and they are absolutely gorgeous, however, the majority of the paper elements are from the gorgeous Altair Art papers with a few Kaisercraft ephemera elements.
