Challenges!!!

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is having a good day, it's beautiful here in Indiana "Notre Dame country"!!!

Well, I just popped in to do some challenges today, It's not often that I do a post just for challenges, but I had been wanting to make a card using the Lion King Characters and Timon will do the trick!
Here are several different pictures of my card.
What I really hope you can see is the frosted acetate in the background.
I am using the Tim Holtz Frosted Film, I just put it on some acetate to create this effect. I love how this turned out, the picture really doesn't do it justice though, but I will be using it again, maybe on a shaker card the next time!

I will be entering card into the following challenges:

SVG Cutting files-Project of your choice
Fantabulous Cricut- Fun in the Sun (Card base Cricut "Stretch Your Imagination")
My Sheri Crafts- Childs Birthday

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Spring Blog Hop!!!!!

Happy Blog Hop Day!!!

Hi everyone, if you came to visit me and would like to participate in the Blog Hop you may start with our lovely host Mary! She will be giving away 2 sets of stamps to one person winners choice. If you have arrived from fabulous Shawnee then you are in the right spot. Today we are having a Spring Blog Hop and as you know Easter is our first Spring Holiday, so I decided to create a project for a child. My inspiration for the little "Box in a Bag" came from a blog I just happened upon called the "The Little Blue Room". If you have the time please check out the site, your gonna love it! There you will find the directions on how to create this cute little box in a bag! The stamp set I am featuring is Mary's  "Good Friends" stamp set. You can purchase this one along with all the others you will see through out the hop here!

Next I just had to create a card to go with it, I wanted it to be fun and appealing to a child, so I thought the googly eyes would be perfect!!! It had to be colorful and cheery. I hope it looks that way to you?

I hope you have enjoyed my creations and they have inspired you to get your Easter projects started for all those little kiddies!!!

I do have some blog candy for you, I will be giving away INKADINKADO Petal Expressions stamp set and Cuttlebug Flip Flops, who knows the winner just might find other goodies too :)! Just leave me a comment with a way I can get in touch with you. You don't have to be a follower but if you like what you see, please follow me with Linky Followers, Google Friends or both!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #99

Happy Wednesday!!!

Time for the first CCC challenge at Cardz TV!! I hope that everyone's year is starting out well? The challenge this week is to  "Make a "Happy New Year" card using any cartridge(s) and any colors you'd like."  I am using the Stretch Your Imagination and Create a Critter carts for my card. How can you bring in the year without Baby New Year? Thought this little baby would be just perfect with Peachy Keen faces. I am also using the Mickey Mouse Celebration embossing folder and Martha Stewart's Glitter Glue to add some sparkle. I just had to use Mary's Card TV Stamps for my background sentiment, you can purchase yours here!

I hope that everyone has enjoyed my creation and it has given you some inspiration to create your card and link it to CCC!

I will also be entering this card into the following challenges:

Cooking with Cricut: Something New (My first time using this stamp)

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

MAG Challenge by the Page # 54

Hi everyone,

It's time for Mag Challenge #54!! This week we are using Stretch Your Imagination page 52.

Remember, with Mag we can only use the images on this page, no other cricut cuts are allowed, however you may use any other embellishments in your stash!

I think it's so funny that with all the different designs on this cart, random.org chose "Winter" for us... go figure! LOL  I wanted to make my card look like the season, so I used the DCWV Winter Wander Stack from last year. I just love, love, love this paper!!  Doesn't it look wintery???

OK, now it's time for you to create your project and link it to Mag Challenge by the page, make sure you invite a friend to join in on the fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

I hope you enjoy my creation!

Check out the other DT members projects and make sure you take advantage of this wonderful challenge. Link your creation to CTO and invite a friend to join in on the fun!
