25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS, DAY #22: Two Tags Die Gift Tags...

Today's 25 Days of Christmas projects are two CAS gift tags for your holiday wrapping!  They both feature the Two Tags Die - yup, again.  What can I say? They just make it quick and easy to make tags!

For the first tag, I used square punches of Designer Series paper cut in half diagonally to make a Christmas Tree.  Easy peasy!

25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS, DAY #18: Merry Snowfolk Cookie Bags...

Today's 25 Days of Christmas project is a cookie packaging idea that I am using for my Cherry Almond Cookies with Amaretto Icing for my Christmas Bunco.  It features the Gusseted Cellophane Bags that I stamped with the Snowflake Soiree stamp set and tied up with Sweater Trim – all from the Holiday Catalog.  It is perfect for cookie exchanges or for any food gifts as they are food-safe.  Of course, you could use it to package any gifts, not just food!

I used White StazOn Ink to stamp the bags.  It dries instantly, so it is wonderful for this project.  Here is a photo of the bag before I filled them:

I used the Two Tags Die for the tag and turned it into a snowman with the Stylin' Snowfolk stamp set accessories.  I started out with the tag on the right below, but then I realized that there were "girlie" eyelashes and mouth from the set that would be better suited for the Bunco ladies, so I chose lady snowman tags.  The best part is that they can use the tag as a bookmark long after the cookies are gone!  Here is a close-up of the Merry Snowfolk Tags.

Today's 25 Days of Christmas project is a quick & easy tag to make for your holiday gifts.  And you can include a sweet treat for that special someone!  I love making cute tags for packaging presents!

I went for a fairly natural, somewhat distressed palette for these little gingerbread cuties.  The dotted background is the Distressed Dots Stamp.  The gingerbread is from the Sensational Season Stamp Set and cut out with the Holiday Collections Framelits from the Holiday Catalog.  Since this is a tag I am using on children's gifts (over 3 years old), I decided the gingerbread boy needed some Googlies Eyes from the Holiday Catalog.  And, of course, a little bling with the Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details!  Do you have someone in your life that this would this would be perfect for?  Enjoy!

MOJO MONDAY, APPEAL-ING MOTHER'S DAY...

Time for to get the Mojo pumping again!  For this Mother's Day card, I used a couple of my favorite Big Shot dies (Two Tags and Flower Folds) as well as two of our colors retiring at end of June (Apricot Appeal and Cameo Coral).  I managed to use only one stamp set and the great thing about this stamp set is that it also has a Happy Birthday stamp, so the center of the flower could easily be swapped out to make this a Birthday card for Mom instead.  Plus there are four lovely sentiments to choose from for the inside of your card.  This set is from the Occasions Mini Catalog and available through April 30 only!

I used the Bride Specialty Paper again for my background paper and brayered the right side with Cameo Coral (went a little overboard so it came out kind of dark) and the left side with Apricot Appeal.  Then on the left side, I also sponged on Cameo Coral and Regal Rose.  It is difficult to see the color variations in this picture (ancient camera strikes again!), but it gives it a pretty tie-dyed effect.   You can see it a little better if you click the picture to make it bigger.  To get the petals of the flowers to curl up (difficult to see in the picture), I rolled the petals between a pencil and my finger similar to the way you make curling ribbon curl with scissors. It gives the card a very 3D look.  Enjoy!

STARBUCKS GIFT CARD HOLDERS...

I got these adorable key ring gift cards from Starbucks for my kids and hubby.  They came with a cute scalloped envelope which was fine, but I really wanted to do something I made myself.  So I took a cue from Starbuck's and made my own cute little scalloped envelope using the Snow Buddies and Cold & Cuddly stamp sets.  The picture shows both the front and back of the envelope.

And here is another little one I made using the Stampin' Up! Two Tags Big Shot Die.  This was sooooo quick and easy - literally only 10 - 15 minutes to make.  I actually used Starbucks red and green keyring gift card for this one, but I already wrapped that one, so I had to use the winter scene one for the picture.  I don't know why I didn't line the whole inside with the Merry Moments DSP.  What was I thinking?  Next time...  Use some Dotto to hold the gift card in place.
