One of the first stamps I bought, over 15 years ago, had this traditional Gaelic blessing and I thought it was appropriate for the day! Today I have a CAS card to share with you for St. Patrick's Day. I decided to use one of the heart images from the Take It To Heart stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I wanted to show the versatility of a stamp set some may feel is just a Valentine's Day set. Another option you could use is the heart image from the P.S. I Love You stamp set.
I cut the heart images out with the Framelits and then layered them on hearts cut with the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit. I embossed the front of the card with the Framed Tulips embossing folder. I adhered a piece of Old Olive 1/8" Ribbon to the front of the card for the shamrock stem and then adhered the three hearts with Stampin' Dimensionals. For the sentiment, I used one from all-purpose Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. Hope you enjoyed my simple card!
