MOJO MONDAY, Bloomin' Bright in the Sunshine...

Today I had a Stampin' 101 scheduled with a new stamper and had only preplanned one card.  I thought I had another CAS card I was going to use, but at the last minute I realized all the cards I was thinking of had retired products in them.  YIKES!  I had very little time to design it, so I grabbed today's Mojo Monday sketch and went to work.

I have been going through a rough time medically for the last few months with severe tendonitis (been in an air cast boot for over two months), a chronic stomach disorder and now uterine cancer.  I need a little SUNSHINE in my life right now!  So, I decided to use the Floral District Designer Series Paper with it's happy, summery colors and the "Live in the Sunshine" sentiment from the Pursuit of Happiness stamp set.  I hope you enjoy this simple card!

10 DAYS 'TIL CHRISTMAS WRAP IT UP COUNTDOWN, Winter Snow Jar Candle...

Today I have a cute, inexpensive gift idea to share with you -- a decorated jar candle!  I decided to go with a Winter theme rather than a Christmas theme.  That way it can be used for a much longer season.  I purchased an jar candle and removed the label.  Then I created a sleeve for the candle with My Digital Studio.  Basically I just added four layers of the stamp in four colors (Going Gray, Bashful Blue, Night of Navy and Marina Mist) and offset each just a bit, so that each color shows as a shadow.  Then I printed it out on vellum and adhered it to the jar.  Next time, I would probably just adhere the ends of the sleeve to the jar, so that the tape wouldn't show under the sleeve.  I added plenty of Jewels for a little bling.

I used the Snow Much Fun Stamp Set for the jar top.  I used the same technique with Dazzling Details that I used in my Shimmery Snowman Card.  I kept the design flat since it will be opened frequently.  Then I added a couple of snowflakes cut with the Northern Frost Die (with Jewels added, of course!) for the hang tag.  Hope you enjoy this fun project!

LOGAN'S SCRAPBOOK, Page 5, 6 & 7...

Today I have pages 5, 6 and 7 of Logan's First Year Scrapbook to share.  I completely forgot to post the rest of the pages from his scrapbook several weeks ago!  I will share the others over the weekend.

Page 5 has either two photo spots or one large photo spot with journaling on the left.  The adorable whale paper is from the Tall Tale DSP available in my Clearance Rack for only $3.49.  Perfect for children's projects!

Page 6 features one photo spot and lots of fun DSP circles.  I also left plenty of room (as on many of the pages) for Adrianna, Logan's mom, to add embellishments from the Rock-a-Bye Simply Scrappin' Kit like the "months" sticker that corresponds to his age.

Page 7 has at least four spots for square pics in the corners.  Again, I left the embellishments up to Logan's Mom, so she can choose the ones that best fit the pictures.  Enjoy!

Today I have a SNEAK PEEK for you!  This card features three new products from the new Idea Book & Catalog beginning July 1.  The scallop circle around the bird medallion is from the FABULOUS new Perfect Pennants Die for the Big Shot.  I can't wait to show you all the different things you can do with this die, but the two scallop circles included on it alone are worth the price of this die!  Love it!
