Tyriq Withers Fourteen Times

Did y'all see the rumor (nevermind, they confirmed it) that the stunning Tyriq Withers here of Him and Reminder of Him (him fetish much), as well as the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot's memorable sauna scene, is dating Best Picture winner One Battle After Another breakout star Chase Infiniti? I think they make a pretty, pretty, pretty couple but this definitely throws a wrench in my "Tyriq is one of us" pet theory. (Did y'all SEE the video of him talking about Heated Rivalry?) I suppose he could just be bi, like all actors. (Every. Single. One.) Whatever -- this doesn't deflate my imagination of our whirlwind romance and short-lived marriage. (We would just be too passionate to stay together...

... but we'd both cherish the memories forever, and there would be several reunions over the decades that left many a hotel room smashed to bits.) Anyway our future ex-Mr. Adams-Withers  is one of the cover stars of the new issue of Numero Netherlands doing his whole dreamboat thing that he does so well -- there's a conversation with him at this link that I am saving to read over my lunch-break but y'all should feel free to go ahead and read it now. Dunno how I missed these but Him hottie Tyriq Withers was kind enough to share yet another batch of behind-the-scenes photos and videos over the weekend and I think they're right up our alley -- as long as I don't have to sit through that not-good movie again and can be greeted by its highlights (all seen above) then we're good. That's as good a holiday present as any! (On that sidenote today is MNPP's last day til January 5th. Prepare yourselves.) I never reviewed Him properly so let those four gifs be my review -- the movie's too muddled in its ideas to really try to write anything of substance about. (Although I could write some words about how much fun Julia Fox is having.) I don't blame star Tyriq Withers for its failure though -- Tyriq I had no trouble watching. For reasons those gifs make apparent. Anyway the movie is out on demand right now -- you can rent it here -- or if you so desire you can buy a physical copy right here for when it's out in November. It would probably pair well with Thanksgiving, seeing as how it's full of football and nonsense that might sit well with you when you're delirious from all the food. A Thanksgiving classic? I don't know. Anyway moving on I just want to warn you people that I'm in a hell of a bad mood this monring so I'm going to try and go find things that make me feel not so awful now -- maybe I'll just stare at those gifs for awhile. They are helping!

The perfectly fine I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot has arrived on demand this week -- read my review right here -- which means the gifs of star Tyriq Withers in just a towel in a steam room have also arrived (via, thx Mac) and I didn't even have to make them myself. Not that I'd have minded staring at Tryiq in just a towel but now I can do just that -- stare, without it being work. Just staring! I deserve to rest, and to stare -- I have earned it. I remember when this scene played in the theater -- I almost fell out of my seat leaning forward trying to see up Tyriq's towel. Damn teases! Hit the jump for the rest of the scene...

Give It Up For Him

The new poster for the Jordan-Peele-produced football horror flick Him dropped today and it puts our new favorite pretty boy Tyriq Withers and his blood-spattered torso where he belongs, front and center. I shared the teaser for this movie back in April here but now that I've actually seen the former footballer turned actor act in the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot I can say with certainty I'm gonna be all up in this movie's business. He's incredibly charasmatic. And well also...

I've got two count 'em two big reviews dropping today and I will link to them when they're live, but on that tip I figured I'd finally get around to sharing the trailer for the latest I Know What You Did Last Summer movie (out on Friday) since that's one of the two movies I'm reviewing and this movie is practically throbbing with hot dudes all around. Throbbing! Above is Tyriq Withers who I posted about previously when the trailer for the football horror movie Him dropped a few months ago -- after watching him on-screen I one thousand percent understand why he's about to be a big thing. His sauna scene glimpsed in the trailer and in the above gif is brief but will do for the current generation of youths what Ryan Phillippe's shower scene in the original movie did for people my age. But beyond Tyriq there's also Jonah Hauer-King with a breathstopping abs reveal, Austin Nichols playing a weirdly sleeveless pastor, Daddy Billy Campbell, and The Fisherman's first victim (not much of a spoiler since the trailer gives the entire scene away) the utterly gorgeous Joshua Orpin. This movie is horror hunkery at its finest! 

Jock Horror

As I've said numerous times here on this very website I've stopped watching movie trailers if I can help it, and most especially horror trailers because they're the worst offenders at giving away too much. With that said I've seen this image from the Jordan Peele produced football horror movie Him going around since that movie's teaser dropped a couple of days ago and how could I resist? I couldn't obviously. That's why we're here. I mean I still haven't watched the teaser and I won't as long as I can avoid it, but I will most certainly share that image of the film's star, footballer turned actor Tyriq Withers, half-naked and covered in blood. And y'all can make your own decisions from there. Him also stars Marlon Wayans, Julia Fox, and Tim Heidecker, and it's out on September 19th. Punt it into my end-zone or whatever!
