Happy Monday, my good people! It occurred to me, as I gathered up this new photoshoot of gold medalist skier and enthusiastic homosexualist Gus Kenworthy (via) last Friday that a good way to frame them, here against the week about to mark the happy occasion of the Joe Biden inauguration, would be to say that hey, here's an Olympian with good politics (here's his emotional post about the election win in November in case you doubted), as opposed to that horse-faced swimmer who participated in the 1/6 insurrection. Former Olympian and Call Me By Your Name fan Gus Kensworthy, giving off some serious "beefier hairier Richard Madden" vibes here, shared the latest promotional video for the new season of American Horror Story on his Instagram today (following suit from his boss Ryan Murphy) -- as we told you awhile back this is very exciting for me because it gives me a great excuse to be able to post more about Gus Kenworthy. We all win. The eighth season of AHS, subtitled "1984" since it's going full Slasher Movie this year much to my Slasher Loving Ass' delight, will premiere on September 18th. Hey did you guys hear yesterday's news that Ryan Murphy has cast openly gay Olympian Gus Kenworthy to play the role of Emma Roberts' boyfriend on the next season of American Horror Story? Thereby gifting me with an excuse to post Gus Kenworthy pictures -- since we talk movies and TV and not sports here I don't often get this chance and I am gonna seize that shit! Not to stir up lame airs of jealousy where there very well be none - I am not prone to relationship drama, really I'm not - but I do have to wonder whether his boyfriend, professional actor Matt Wilkas (from the very funny movie Gayby), is wondering where his Ryan Murphy Role is...

I only know who Gus Kenworthy is because I am a gay man in 2018 and it would be literally impossible not to - I haven't been watching the Olympics, but I've known who Gus is since he started dating Gayby star (and noted fur-monster) Matthew Wilkas. Anyway he just won the internet today with that tweet, so the rest of us can take it easy now til tomorrow. Thanks, Gus. I hope Matt massages your bruised bum for you but good.

Does anybody have any good "wide receiver" jokes? I really need one here in the wake of the news that Julian Edelman is going to be naked in this year's "Body Issue" of ESPN's magazine. The magazine is not out until next month but they've gone and released a behind-the-scenes video, and...

... it's heaven. Heaven! There are other people worth looking at in it - openly gay Gus Kenworthy and the great big footballer Ezekiel Elliott spring to mind - but Julian is in his own league, and has been ever since I first saw him way back when rocking a great big beard and a lot of boisterous energy.
