François Arnaud Seven Times

I am amused at how the Heated Rivalry foursome have been tagging one another with the sexy photoshoots for the past several weeks -- one after another after another after another, Connor Storrie then Robbie G.K. then Hudson Williams then our boy François here rocking a vast array of fashion panties for Cero magazine today...

Truly these all go well beylond "short shorts" -- when a butt-cheek is exposed a la the iconic movie poster for I Spit on Your Grave we've wandered into new territory. I think he is literally just wearing tighty-whities in the photo below? I do think the foursome are in a playful game of one-upmanship with these shoots though, and who's the real winner? We are, of course. Hit the jump for the rest...

François Arnaud Three Times

The second-tier Heated Rivalry guys are coming at us hard here at the end of this week -- I posted a bunch of Robbie G.K. this morning (and let it be told I'm about to update that post with several new photos so check back!) and now here is our long-time beloved François Arnaud covering Behind the Blinds magazine. Given every time I post anything from BTB they end up dribbling out several dozen more photos over the course of months at a time I would expect more of these photos to be revealed, eventually. For now, enjoy three. I sure am.

ETA see? Already another! So make that Four Times:

Pic of the Day

Here is a lovely behind-the-scenes picture from that Paris fashion event where three-quarters of the Heated Rivalry cast were in attendance that I posted about last week; this captures an intimate moment between actors François Arnaud & Robbie G.K... awwwww, everybody say awwwww. All that whilst Aaron Taylor-Johnson lurks in the background like a waiter? No seriously I totally thought Aaron was a waiter in this photo right until I was about to load it here on the site -- if you don't zoom in it sort of looks like he's wearing an apron, I think? Anyway we know Aaron was also there because see below, but it's kinda wild how much that shaggy hair ages him -- Arnaud, who's five years Aaron's elder, looks like a baby beside him. This post is really just me telling Aaron to cut his hair please. The gay boys are overtaking you! (Would pay to watch.)

Do Dump or Marry: Heated Rivalry Eats Paris

Three of the four main cast-members of Heated Rivalry were dolled up at the Saint Laurent show in Paris today -- left to right that's Robbie G.K. (making a feast of those leather trousers), Connor Storrie, and François Arnaud, with Hudson Williams as the odd man not to be seen for this go. (Click the picture to embiggen.) And obviously threesomes of this sort...

... always lend themselves to our favorite game of "Do Dump or Marry" (known to many as "Fuck Marry Kill")! So now you take to the comments down below and tell us which one you'd want to spend a single night of unbridled passion with, which one you'd toss in the trash, and which one you'd choose for your life-long (tonsil) hockey partner. And try not to be influenced by the fact that Luca Guadagnino has obviously already made his choice:

François Arnaud Take Us Away

Well I ended last week by sharing one of those Men's Health workout videos of Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams while being too lazy to gif the entire thing, so we might as well keep the theme rolling and do the same for his co-hunk François Arnaud today! François knows which side his bread's buttered on so he wore that same slutty gray Under Armour top from the show for it, bless him. Anyway I'm being lazy this time around and not giffing this video up because my office is closing early, and this is my goodbye to you for the weekend. Everybody in the path of the supposed big storm -- stay safe! I plan on barricading myself indoors with all my Sundance screeners and you know probably also this video of François uhh several times...

Good Morning, World

I've stated this a few different places now but I'm saving Heated Rivalry and Boots -- aka the two big gay shows of this televisual autumn -- to watch during my nearly two week break over Christmas. So no I have yet to see or understand the context in which these shots of our beloved François Arnaud can be seen in his little black underpants in the former series, meaning the gigantic hockey asses one. Knowing these gifs exist though, well I had to post them. But sans spoilers why don't y'all tell me what you're thinking of this show? And Boots for that matter? Will I be having the horniest holiday on record or what? I'm excited! In all its definitions!

Bonjour, François

Okay okay okay unlike how half-assed yesterday turned out to be here, I should be (knock on François Arnaud's wood) around posting much more today. Phew! And lets's start off with some true hotness to get our juices good and flowing -- actor slash bisexual king François Arnaud (who I just happened to stand beside at a film's after-party last week and y'all lemme tell you, his prettiness very seriously translates to the real world -- my god) was photographed for Nuvo magazine (via) yesterday and we're lucky enough to have the photos and video. I mean obviously -- what if I didn't have anything to post??? If a photoshoot gets photographed in the woods and nobody sees it does the photoshoot exist? Whoa this is all way too heady for a Wednesday morning, my sincerest apologies. Hit the jump and I will shut up and let you just ogle the pretty now...

Newfest Is Calling From inside The House

Yesterday when I shared the line-up for the Brooklyn Horror Fest here in NYC I mentioned that the next several weeks are about to get psycho-nuts on me with that fest, NYFF and NewFest all barreling toward me -- well here we are less than 24 hours later and NewFest has dropped their line-up, proving my point. But thre's no saying no to any of these fests as they cover all sides of me -- fancy-man movie-lover with NYFF, horror hound with BHFF, and fag supreme at NewFest. I am a rich tapestry! Anyway you can check all of NewFest's line-up right here but as I did for BHFF I'm gonna narrow it down, simplify simplify simplify, and give you the titles I personally got ants in my pants about.

5 NewFest Movies To Get My Gay On

Night Stage -- Per usual you'll always get me at "queer erotic thriller." And the last time I saw one was Femme and that worked out great! This one from Brazil is about a rising politician with a penchant for public sex. TELL ME MORE.

The Chronology of Water -- Written and directed by Kristen Stewart! This premiered at Cannes and I didn't hear much about it but then I tend to ignore Cannes as much as possible. It stars the great Imogen Poots (who I just saw in person last night at that Hedda screening) in the true-story of a swimmer who fell in love with literature. Yes, books! It's crazy! (The movie also co-stars Tom Sturridge, yum.)

Blue Film -- I mentioned this movie on Bluesky a couple of weeks ago when I first read about it as it screened in Edinburgh; by all accounts a deeply provocative film about a camboy spending the night with an older man (Reed Birney) with pedophilic fantasies this movie sounds legit dangerous in a way movies (and art) should be more often. Can't wait for this.

Only Good Things -- Another Brazilian movie! Bless the Brazilians. This one's from Dry Wind director Daniel Nolasco, which is all I really needed to know -- Dry Wind was terrific (and very very sexy). This one's a love story set in the 1980s. (And looks very very sexy.)

Fucktoys -- The only one of these movies that I've posted here at MNPP about already, when back in March I shared the teaser trailer for it because it co-stars François Arnaud looking like that above. It debuted at SXSW then and everything I read about it made it sound very up my alley. John Waters gets name-checked by its director (and lead actor) Annapurna Sriram a lot!

------------------------------------------

NewFest 2025 runs from October 9th through 21st, both here in person in NYC and also online! So make sure you check their website to see what you can see on this here World Wide Web if you're outta town. And there were many many other titles announced today so make sure you check the whole line-up, top to proverbial bottom. You can buy badges right now; individual tickets go on sale September 15th.

Good Morning, Fucktoy François

It's been almost three years since François Arnaud debuted the sexy bleach-blond scuzzball look that turns out to've been for his role in the upcoming movie Fucktoys, which is premiering at SXSW this Sunday. We'll have to wait to see if all of that wait was worth it but the look itself was worth it, that's for sure. A teaser for the film just dropped, so watch:

I'm not doing SXSW so you'll have to look to other people for immediate reviews of the film. But I can give you gifs! I can give you gifs of François right this minute. Hit the jump for them...

François-o-phile Takes Fantasia

As mentioned in my previous post I am indeed headed to the land of gorgeous Quebecois boys like François Arnaud and Théodore Pellerin tomorrow -- Montreal bound as the 2024 edition of the Fantasia Film Festival kicks off. I don't believe François is in any movies that are playing this year, so me using an image of him is especially gratuitous, but well you know me! Who doesn't want to stare at François, I ask you? Anyway click here to check Fantasia's entire line-up and if you're around Montreal I recommend going! I had a grand time when I went in person last year for the first time (I've been covering the fest before that for many years virtually) and I am very much looking forward to doing it again. If you're not in Montreal...

...  that's probably acceptable since I will see what needs to be seen and tell you about it. And then just like I did with Red Rooms in my previous post today I will keep you wise to when these movies are making their U.S. debuts. There are piles of excellent looking genre movies I'm hoping to cram under my belt over the next couple of weeks -- I will only be up there until Monday (I will be back on blog come Tuesday) but I've also got myself fully loaded up with screeners, and you'll be hearing about all the good stuff, I promise. I will be reviewing films for both Pajiba and Mashable and I'll link to them all from here. Fantasia runs July 18th through August 4th. Sacrée merde!

I Quit Smoking 16 Years Ago Today

Well, here we are. My nicotine cessation can officially drive a car in the United States now. Today marks sixteen years since I touched a dirty filthy cigarette and sixteen years of me doing these posts of famous men looking hot as shit while smoking dirty filthy cigarettes. I regret nothing! I admit remain surprised that I can continue to find enough photos to fill up these posts, but I hear smoking has become cool with the kids again? I don't recommend it obviously, but I also can't lie...

... sexy motherfuckers be looking sexy while doing it. And listen, nobody should be looking to me for moral guidance. I'm just a fucked up girl who's lookin' for my own peace of mind -- don't assign me yours! Oh wait that's Kate Winslet in Eternal Sunshine. The point remains! Don't smoke! Unless you're sexy! Then do whatever the hell you want to. Hit the jump for a pile of photos and gifs...

Good Morning, I Quit Smoking 15 Years Ago Today

Well it's that time again -- every May 5th I celebrate two personal things (and no neither of them are Cinco de Mayo, but if you celebrate that a happy one to you). One -- it's my anniversary with my boyfriend. And two -- I quit smoking cigarettes on this day in the year 2008, and I have been doing this post here on this website for fifteen straight years ever since. All year long I set aside a folder of images I stumble upon of our favorite sexy actors smoking...

... be it in film, photoshoot, or personal life. I might be happy I quit, and I don't encourage any of you to pick up the habit... but gosh if it can't be sexy to look at all the same. I don't make the rules! Some things are just the way they are. So this morning let's hit the jump and roll around like animals in filth in the hot bad habit of it all...

Happy 5 To Permission

Today we celebrate the 5th anniversary of the release of director Brian Crano's delightful rom-com Permission, which stars Rebecca Hall and Dan Stevens as a couple who've been together since high school who decide to give each other "permission" (ooh there's the title!) to sleep around for a minute before they get married and never have the chance again. Dan Stevens ends up having a fling with a very very very funny Gina Gershon, while Becky ends up boning hot perfect François Arnaud, whose nudity in the film we're posting today as our form of celebration. I did post this once before but what the hell, when in Rome (and yes in this instance "Rome" is "inside of François Arnaud's underpants"). Oh and this movie also stars Rebecca Hall's ridiculously hot husband (and Gilded Age star) Morgan Spector as a gay and he has a hot gay sex scene in it too?

In other words this movie has everything you need and I don't know why it doesn't get more love. How has Crano not made another movie since??? Granted I'm slightly biased when it comes to the movie for selfish reasons as it marked the very first time I got blurbed in a trailer -- they took a little nugget from my review at The Film Experience when I saw it at the Tribeca fest that year. Anyway the movie got a very small physical media release in the US (DVDs of it are going for a hundred bucks!) but you can watch it on Tubi right now, as well as on Prime, and I recommend you do. It's a sweet and terrifically-acted way to spend a couple of hours. And you get to stare at François Arnaud's dick. If that ain't cinema!!! And speaking of, hit the jump for more gifs...

Look Who's Coming To Yellowjackets!

Our boy François Arnaud, that's who! He's just joined the second season of the hit series -- he's going to be playing (and if you don't want to know anything about the second season I suppose this is a spoiler) "a New York writer and secret boyfriend of Coach Scott (Steven Krueger) who reminds Coach Scott of what might have been." Does this mean that the coach in the "present day" will continue being played by the same actor as in the flashbacks then?

I guess they can get away with that? I mean I wanna continue looking at Steven Krueger so I absolutely will be okay with it. It's just a little bit weird when he was only in his early 30s when they shot the first season, really only about ten years older than the "teen" versions. Whatever, add some eye wrinkles and we're golden. More importantly give him and François sex times, please and thank you! Oh and I think I forgot to post this news when it broke aaaages ago -- also in the second season will be Melanie Lynskey's adorable husband Jason Ritter, as well as her co-star in I Don't Feel At Home in This World Anymore Elijah Wood! Mel and Elijah made an awesome team in that awesome movie -- I hope they get to play together again.

Today's Fanboy Delusion

 Today I'd rather be...

... tying one on with François Arnaud.
 (via, click to embiggen)

Good Morning, World

One of the things that's fallen by the wayside over the past couple of weeks of my busy-ness with my trip home and the Fantasia Film Fest has been television shows, several of which i have some catching-up-with to do, but I did managae the night before last to finally watch the first episode of Surface, Apple's new series that obviously has a casting director who loves MNPP as the cast stars MNPP-beloveds like Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Stephan James, François Arnaud, Ari Graynor, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, and, seen here flaunting that full bush (top half edition) of his, Mr. Oliver Jackson-Cohen. (I previously shared the trailer here.) I know there have been a few more episodes released so y'all don't spoil anything for me please and thank you, but if you want to share your vague non-specific thoughts do so in the comments! I'm drawn in already, but mainly because of the cast -- it feels like it's hitting the Big Little Lies / Little Fires Everywhere with its mystery and world notes a little hard though, right? Like it's underlining all of the prestige-cable lady-story points really hard. We're rich and terrible people! We will see. Anyway hit the jump for one bonus gif (this scene shoulda been longer)...

The Stacked Cast of Surface Says Howdy

Here is one I have been looking forward to for ages now -- Apple+ has debuted the trailer for their upcoming series Surface today, which stars (and you're about to get why I have been looking forward to this one forever) Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Stephan James, Ari Graynor, François Arnaud, and Marianne Jean Baptiste (I mean! Phew!) and is about a woman (Gugu) who has amnesia after "falling" over the side of a boat and who tries to put the pieces of her memories back together, all while that hubby of hers (OJC) becomes more and more sinister-seeming by the second. It's all very upscale Lifetime. I kind of love that Olly has become the go-to for Hot Scary Husbands...

... and y'all know how very very very much I am reading into this shot of him with François Arnaud in the trailer, right? Right. Oliver Jackson-Cohen playing a closet-case would be very funny though! Haha. Sigh. Let's just hope they give them an actual sex scene and it's not just lots of leaning towards each other with weighted meaningful glances. Also let's give it up for...

... some Ari Graynor looking fabulous! We've been rooting for Ari ever since she gifted the world with the world's most disgusting toilet scene in Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist thirteen years ago (good grief) and we're always happy when she pops up. All that said here's that trailer...

Surface premieres on July 29th! Can't wait...

Pics of the Day

I am shocked to discover that the movie I am about to talk about I have only brought up on Twitter, apparently -- if ever there was a movie that deserved my yammering to makes its way back here to the site for a proper post then this was the movie! The photo above is of the French actor Félix Mairtaud -- best known for the 2018 film Sauvage / Wild (reviewed here) but he was also in BPM and Knife+Heart and Gaspar Noé's Lux Æterna, and these are all movies you ought to see if you have not yet seen them) -- and the Quebecois actor Théodore Pellerin, best known for the Kristen Dunst series On Becoming a God in Central Florida, or his small roles in Never Rarely Sometimes Always and Boy Erased, or maybe from my ongoing Twitter thread about how he is probably dating also-Quebeqois actor François Arnaud.

Separate from the Theo-Fran thread though I tweeted the above back in February and that really should have made its way here to MNPP proper as a news-item, but did not -- Pellerin and Maritaud are co-starring in a movie called Drag from director Sophie Dupui, about two drag queens who fall in love. This movie doesn't even seem to have an IMDb page yet so I don't have much info to share, but the director has been sharing content from the shoot on her Instagram ...

... (as have the actors) and it appears that they have just finished shooting. (The photo at the very top of this post, which appears to be an official still, was shared by Felix on his Insta yesterday.) I should also add here that reader Marc-Antoine was kind enough to send me all this info back in February when I tweeted that first tweet, and I thank him for it! Obviously I will keep my eyes and ears and whatnot to the ground for more information when it's available -- stay your self tuned!

Quote of the Day

"There are a lot of Quebecois films and shows that made me fall in love with acting. I think Xavier Dolan’s films, which I watched when I was younger, made me fall in love with movies and acting in general."

-- That quote comes from actor Théodore Pellerin talking to Netflix's Queue magazine, and if the rumors are true about Pellerin possibly being romantically linked with actor Francois Arnaud, who memorably co-starred in Xavier Dolan's film I Killed My Mother that he grew up watching and loving, well -- good for Theo! I just sit here and blog about lusting for all of these actors but he actually went out there and made it happen. Kudos, really. (Also I would just like to add that  Francois has had Oliver Jackson-Cohen showing up on his social media a lot lately and... the mind boggles.)

Pic of the Day

Thanks to MNPP reader and pal Boyd for shooting us this photo -- Quebecois actor and delightful weirdo Théodore Pellerin is starring in a play in Montreal called Embrasse next month, and one of the promotional images has him reenacting the famous nude pose of the designer Yves Saint Laurent -- this is how you get audiences to go see your plays, people. According to our pal Boyd (I don't know French so the website's indecipherable to me) the play was written by Michel Marc Bouchard, who wrote Xavier Dolan's best film Tom at the Farm, and is about a young man who dreams of being a fashion designer. (The Dolan connection is interesting given the rumors that Pellerin is dating former Dolan star François Arnaud.)

(That rumor is my current Quebecois obsession.) Anyway it looks like the fine folks at Netflix have also discovered Pellerin, who first caught MNPP's eye thanks to his stellar turn in the cruelly brief single season of the series On Becoming a God In Central Florida (RIP to my beautiful baby) -- Pellerin had been around for a minute before that series, I know some of you were familiar with some of his earlier work, but I was not. Then he was in several things all of a sudden -- the two films Boy Erased and Never Rarely Sometimes Always foremost -- and we were quick finding ourselves smitten. Well Netflix did too it seems, as he's in two big projects for them right now (neither of which I've seen yet) -- the series Maid with Margaret Qualley and her mom that Andie Macdowell person, and the fright film There's Someone Inside Your House, which just premiered today. Let's hope this is just the start of a beautiful friendship!
