Morgan Spector busted out of his corset for GQ's "Men of the Year" issue (I should say along with his Gilded Age co-star Carrie Coon) to talk "TV's Hottest Marriage" -- read about it here. (Carrie wasn't so lucky with the corset, poor dear.) Anyway while we all go off and fantasize about Rail Daddy laying some rail on us let me mention I've got a screening this morning and won't be back here until this afternoon. Morgan will take good, thorough care of you in my absence, I promise. 

Get Stuck In Time With Morgan Spector

Big huge ups to MNPP reader Natty who alerted me to the presence of a 2017 short horror film called "Great Choice" that stars a pre-Gilded-Age Carrie Coon and Morgan Spector as people trapped inside a hellish Red Lobster commercial loop -- I'd never heard of it and I loved it, so I wrote a little thing about it over at Pajiba today (where you can also watch said short). Anyway Natty I didn't get to mention you in the piece there for obvious reasons but I can give you your flowers right here, amongst the luxurious chest follicles of Mr. Spector himself, so that's what this is. King! Anyway that short is indeed a perfect companion to the film Buffet Infinity that I just reviewed out of Fantasia -- you can read that here if you missed it. Anyway me and Morgan are back off to bed now so g'night!

Good Morning, World

Happy one day work week to all who celebrate! Okay out of all the tens of people reading these words it's probably just me celebrating that, but you should be happy for me anyway. I'd be happy for you! Okay no I wouldn't, I'm an absolute see-you-next-Thursday when it comes to that sort of thing. Whatever. It's this Thursday so we don't have to worry about next Thursday and this will be the only day I'll be blogging this week is my point. (If you don't count the one post I made yesterday anyway, and since I said not to you shouldn't. Christ you're being difficult this morning.) With that said, Claybourne Elder! 

(ETA the above video which Claybourne dropped this morning after I'd posted this.) He was enough of a gentleman to invite us into his dressing room for The Gilded Age on his Instagram this week, and why wouldn't we take that bait? This week's episode of that show was a good one right? Good n' frothy, just the way I like... lots of things. (Morgan Spector, you listening?) Ehh let's get this Thursday going and gone, then -- I'm exhausted already.

Guten Morgan, World

A pleasurable Tuesday morning to one and all -- and if not yet then I hope this post will put some pleasure into it for you. Last night Men's Health magazine dropped one of their patented workout videos featuring a hot piece of ass male celebrity with some current heat (see most recently Jai Courtney) -- this time around it's everybody's favorite Railroad Daddy himself Morgan Spector, and he doesn't disappoint. (As a side note I feel like we should've shortened that nickname to "Rail Daddy" but maybe that's just a hint too filthy? Never, I say. Never too filthy!) 

Anyway as happens every time that horny little devil inside my brain whispered in my ear, "Make a gif or two, Jason!" And then my horny little fingers went and spent two full hours making almost ninety gifs instead. Listen -- out of all my many mental issues I think this compulsion is one of the better ones, so I just indulge it now. That was two hours I wasn't paying attention to the horror-show of the real world! Time perfectly spent, then!

So by the time I'd made all of these gifs and gotten them organized for this post I just decided to save this for the morning -- fascinating stuff, huh? But I think you'll see it rewards the wait. At first glance I worried he was wearing too much but... that stopped being a problem. Rail Daddy knows what he's doing! Morgan Spector Eight Times

When I posted those sexy photos of Gilded Age star Morgan Spector in Rolling Stone last night I really didn't expect we'd get an even sexier photoshoot first thing the next morning but here we are! GQ saw RS's black tank top and one-upped them with a see-through one! Granted it's only two of several photos that have him wearing this exact outfit, but that exact outfit is enough to win the war. (Until tomorrow when he poses in sheer underwear, I whisper unto heaven.) (As an aside looking at these photos naturally got me thinking about Morgan's old nude scene that I giffed in this post -- good times.) Anyway blessings upon them, us, Morgan, everything. Morgan Spector Six Times

I've got a short day at my desk today because I've only got a handful of hours sandwiched in between two screenings, one this morning and one this evening -- so I'm technically trying to get work done (so many Tribeca reviews still left to write). But photoshoots like this keep jumping onto my face and keeping me from it! What can be done though? Just post Morgan Spector's beautiful curly mop of perfect hair and exceptional biceps in Rolling Stone and carry on, I suppose. That's how that famous saying goes right? Anyway I'm sure you're all aware that The Gilded Age is starting back up -- has it already started? I am not sure since I've been buried in said Tribeca stuff but if I had to guess I'd guess it starts this weekend. Perhaps one of you people can set me straight. But not too straight! Then these photos would do nothing for me and what would even be the point of living if that was the case? Hit the jump for them all...

Morgan Spector Three Times

I've had the first and third photos seen there for awhile now -- I tweeted them last week -- but I've been so distracted with screenings that I somehow hadn't gotten to posting them! Thankfully the middle photo popped up today and I was reminded -- otherwise this website would and should crumnble to dust through my own fault and neglect. These are new ones from Mr. Morgan Spector's photoshoot for The Cut in early September -- I did post the rest of that shoot right here so it's not all negrlect. Anyway! I had my last NYFF screening this morning so things will calm down a little -- although uhhh NewFest kicks off today (see my post on this year's edition here) and the Brooklyn Horror Fest kicks off one week from today so it won't be totally calm. But those are all night-time things -- I will be here day-wise, doing my thing. Giving you the Morgan Spector content you demand! And some other stuff probably. But mostly Morgan. Let's be real. MNPP stands for MorgaN sPector Peen after all!

Pic of the Day

Pictures have been washing across the internet all week from Thom Browne's fashion dinner that happened a few days ago where he invited a slew of somebodies and had them dress up in his new duds -- I feel as if I should make a joke about everybody being a dish, but let's just pretend I did and move on. I posted a few on Twitter here but the shot I was confronted with this morning really demands its own post given that it stars two of MNPP's long-time most-beloved faves (beloved is one word for what we feel anyway) -- Alessandro Nivola and Morgan Spector. (I'm honestly surprised that I didn't see any pictures of Lee Pace there since this photo was posted on Instagram by Lee's husband, Thom Browne executive Matthew Foley. but then perhaps that's for the best because if Lee had been standing there between those two seen above my frail heart would have poofed into a cloud of golden glitter and that'd be all he wrote, folks.

Last Friday I shared the above photo but in a far inferior quality copy -- now we've got the goods in hi-fi, baby! (That means click to embiggen 'em.) And then more photos to boot! The shoot is for The Cut, where they chat with him about "How To Behave" and lord knows we want our daddy to tell us how to behave. They all know what they're doing! Anyway he unfortunately keeps his words pretty P.G. rated, but when he said he lurks on Twitter I was like, "Oh he has definitely seen my sordid tweets about him then." So hi Morgan! Baron Daddy

I don't have a proper link or scan of this photo yet but I think you'll agree with me that it's the kind of thing that needs to be shared immediately, and we'll update those specifics later -- this photo of The Gilded Age's baron-daddy Morgan Spector is in the new issue of New York Magazine, but they haven't uploaded it online yet -- I got this off their Insta stories, reshared by Morgan himself (ever the good sport, ready to self-exploit at a moment's notice). Goddamn he makes me feel things. And not just deep jealousy of Rebecca Hall, although that's inextricable from the rest for certain! 

Happy InDePlaidPants Day 2024!

It's time for that goofiest of MNPP-specific holidays -- every July 4th I post photos of dudes wearing plaid pants, because why not. WHY NOT??? Really though -- if any of you can come up with a good reason why I shouldn't do this ricidulous thing every year let's hear it; it'll save me gathering up these photos all year long. I welcome one less thing to worry about in this worry-full world!

But until that happens here we are, and here they be -- dudes wearing plaid pants. It's been so long since I've owned or wore a proper pair of plaid pants. That seems a shame. You'd think I'd capitalize on the site's name and brand myself like a proper "influencer" with a look (or is that "lewk") all my own so I could become a pop culture character and perhaps then pay my bills on time.
