Beautiful Packaging Design of Chocolate Bars That Support Wildlife Conservation

  

Endangered Species Chocolate is known world over for producing delicious and ethically traded chocolate. Their chocolate bars are instantly recognized on a store shelf for their bold package design featuring endangered species of animals. The brand catches ones attention with the pictures of Eurasian Eagle Owl, African Elephant, Sea Otter, Bald Eagle, Black Panther and many more. Their new colorful packaging uses different fonts, species information on the back of the bar, and pattern design on the wrapper that co-ordinates with the animal the chocolate is dedicated to. For example: there are owl feathers on the wrapper of the almond sea salt and dark chocolate.

They offer the chocolate lovers a variety of products including bars, bites ad barks. Each product is largely targeted at conscious consumers and increasing awareness at species who are at risk of getting extinct. Endangered Species Chocolate donates 10 percent of all their proceeds to wildlife conservation charities such as Rainforest Trust and Wildlife Conservation Network. Package Design: Naked Paleo Granola Bars and Mylk Infusions

 

I was browsing online for healthy, raw granola bars when I came across the products by the Australian brand Naked Paleo. The couple Jen Thompson and Blake Poole founded the brand after they saw the benefits of paleo diet which they strictly followed for 30 days. Of course, they missed a little something sweet and they decided to come up with their own recipes to satisfy their cravings. The brand offers number of healthy products including Mylk infusion and granola bars that are made with dates, sunflower seeds, almonds, shredded coconut, and other whole ingredients.

To package their beautiful products they decided to go with elegant, soft hues with an owl logo on a textured wrapper. The products are targeted at health conscious people who are looking for a clean and healthy snack. These products are sure to stand out in an aisle of a health food store because of it's modern and fresh design.

Illustrator Beth Emily

Beth Emily is a designer and an illustrator based in Hobart, Tasmania. She completed her education from the Tasmanian School of Fine Arts where she studied printmaking and graphic design. She developed her own unique style over the years through continued experimentation and exploration. She loves to observe nature and through her art gives interpretation to different forms found in nature. Her work is primarily influenced by traditional Naturalist art and botanical illustrations. She creates fluid, delicate illustrations using pencil and watercolors.

She works on variety of projects with main focus on print, packaging and branding for start-ups, established businesses and self-initiated projects. She has worked in collaboration with Singapore Airlines, Vogue Japan, Lodestars Anthology, Hecker Guthrie, Clemenger BBDO, Frankie Magazine, Vans, Tasmanian Government, Brandworks and Australian Traveller. She has been one of the finalists at Finders Keepers Art Competition. The Barn Owl coffee cup was one of her commercial projects she designed for Biopak Coffee. What a great way of starting a day!

Pumpkin Beers for Fall: Package Design

Elysian is a Seattle based brewery famous for its pumkin beer. They just recently released pumpkin brews for this fall - Dark Knife Pumpkin Schwarzbier, Punkuccino Coffee Pumpkin Ale , The Great Pumpkin Imperial Pumpkin Ale and Night Owl Pumpkin Ale. The bottles feature the labels with seasonal illustrations from owl to pumpkins in orange, black, green and purple color palette.

Night Owl is one of their most available beers that can be found at your local grocery and liquor stores. Each barrel has about 7 pounds of pumpkin and delicious spices such as nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, ginger and allspice. I have never tried their beer but it definitely sounds like something that you can serve to your guest who like pumpkin and owls!
